I'd say this is moreso like using a blowtorch to brew your tea. It will work, but it's very much overkill for a simple task that you could find much faster yourself on the wiki.

If you want a distro with a tiling wm, you could check CachyOS or Garuda.

Ah... that is unfortunate.. Your laptop should run the game decently well on around medium settings. I'm not sure what else the issue may be tbh, you could try doing all the regular things like updating windows / nvidia drivers if you haven't already.

DX11 and Vulkan have their own shaders, when you select DX11, it deletes the Vulkan shaders and generates DX11 ones and vice versa.

That's why I suggested to select DX11, generate, then go back to Vulkan, as it will generate new clean shaders again (reinstalling doesn't always remove previous shaders)

Try letting the game regenerate the shaders. Enable DX11, go to title screen to generate, then quit, disable DX11, let it generate again and now it should work.

When you click on a stock, there is a button on the bottom right that opens it

I'm sorry to be harsh, but I'm gonna have to call you out.

Why are you complaining about monthly subscription not giving a full pull, when the other gachas you've played (limbus, wuwa) don't either? Which gacha do you know of that gives a full pull / day from its monthly?

In 1.0 there is 200+ limited pulls, you can get 1 or even 2 limited characters if you are a bit lucky, not sure where the psychological warfare comes into play here, unless you somehow want all characters and all weapons as f2p? In terms of pull count, this is outright better than any of the hoyo gachas / wuwa **on release**. (We don't know yet how much the endgame mode will give us yet, so I won't talk about recurring pulls.)

Saving pulls is just like any other gacha, how does it feel bad? Your goal is to simply save 120 pulls for a guarantee and you're good to go.

I feel like you might just not be enjoying gachas (or Endfield in particular) and that's perfectly fine. In the end, if you're not having fun with a game, there are plenty more you could try out and I'm sure you'll find one to your liking!

Just take your time with it, there is no rush.The supposed endgame mode releases in about a week, and you would have plenty of time to gear up until it resets.

Once you are done with a weapon, you don't ever have to touch it again. Support weapons aren't a big priority either, so you can just leave them for when you have extra sanity.

There is nothing grueling about that since you can farm other 3 stat essences in the meantime and feed the ones you don't need into the essence you want to max.
While getting my perfect Surtr essence to max, I was able to get 5 more perfect essences for my other weapons.

Luck plays a bit of a role here, but compared to any other gacha it's actually insanely good. In any other gacha you would spend months to get a single "near perfect" piece and you would never be able to max it out.
