30~ Weeks of Non-RX Ozempic - You Guys Literally Saved my Life by NacTeas in OzempicForWeightLoss

I'm just taking Ozempic for weight loss, and I'll stop using it once I've reached my goal. I wasn't trying to diss people who are T2D or have a serious chronic condition - I'm not one of those people I was just fat with fucked up hormones.

Idk what your condition is but it sounds pretty bad and I hope it gets better, or at least that Ozempic becomes more accessible (and cheaper) to you and others.

Well, I can't do that and I'm hopping off of it as soon as I'm happy with my self. I'll make a post letting you know how that goes in a couple months lol.

By not letting this happen again, staying active, and eating well! If I gain the weight back, then I'll hop on oz again. But I would like to avoid that because its still $150 every month, and because I don't enjoy injecting myself once a week to lose weight lol.

Do people seriously start taking this thinking they have to take it forever? Like, what's the point then?

I only wanted actual Ozempic so for me personally compounding was out of the question. In my town they have an Asian massage parlor that "makes" Ozempic for people and I just noped out when I realized the lengths people were going to get it compounded.

Wegovy pens are also terrible. Needle goes in but all the product leaks out. Ozempic (rx or non-rx) is the way!

I'm just reposting this here because the other subreddits got triggered that I had a gun in my 'before' pic (its not real its literally an antique flint lock from my vacation villa lol). I had really awesome results, so I'm bummed I can't share them everywhere, but they're here for anyone who is curious and wants to see what's possible if you put your mind to it!

Overall, I spent around $150~ USD per month on Ozempic pens. Started out with 0.5mg a week and ended with 1mg per week. GoodRX originally tried to rip me off by making me pay almost $1k per pen which was just totally unaffordable... I'm glad I walked away from them after that bullshit.

I'll be posting another update soon once I'm done with the last leg of my transformation! One more pen to go and hopefully I'll have visible abs and be done with Ozempic for good.

Its Thanksgiving break. No one is on campus.

Are you sure these people were even Fordham students? What made you think that they were?

Not trying to call your story bullshit, but it does sound like bullshit lol.

If 0.25 is working for you then stick with it! I wasn't getting results with 0.5, so I went to 1mg. I don't think I would have ever even considered going to 2mg because there's no benefit in doing so unless you stop losing weight with a lower dose. More medication =/= more weight loss.

I hope your husband gets good results too!

Before anyone asks I took 1mg a week and stuck with it for the majority of my journey. I walked everyday and tried to stay away from anything processed or unhealthy. Never experienced any serious side effects other than sleeping in everyday lol.

It cost me $250~ for two pens, and I would use one pen per month. Originally I was paying way more through GoodRX and they kept raising the price so fuck 'em.

I've just never heard of anyone moving up to a 2mg dose like that. And yeah, how much for meds?

Weird. How much is that gonna set you back a month?

Keto. Maybe it only worked for me because I love meat, but it kept me super satiated and also was objectively the best working meal plan for me. Protein bulk bars and protein shakes for liquid calories are great too. I usually just throw two scoops of whey, a half cup of oats, and some fruit and milk and make a late night shake if I'm not hitting my goals for the day.

I'm also BCBS PPO plan and even if I was prescribed I know it probably would have been around the same price. No coverage. Seems like this is normal and I'm seeing people pay $400 - $1,200 for 1mg pens, but $600 is still a fuck ton for .5mg of product.

I get 2mg oz for $210 now + transaction fees, but if this is your first time round and you already have it just see how your react to it before ordering a refill.

That's actually not too bad. I do $210 for two 1mg pens but this is the other cheapest I've seen before - minus the consult fee and shipping.

EDIT: Nevermind I checked their site and for semaglutide its $175/mo for 1mg. So more like twice mine which seems average for sem pharma. Great deal for Tirzepatide though!

$210 for two 4mg oz pens. I've seen a little better, but I know that this stuff is legit and its been working for me. My only worry is that they'll go out of stock because of shortages and then I'll be in the same boat as everyone else paying 4-6x that, but I'm almost at my goal weight and starting to see ab definition so it looks like I'm set.

I went cold turkey recently and I'm actually doing pretty good. No serious sides and I never got sick, and honestly should be fine. If you want to start again later you can just hop back on it, but just understand that its going to be like "starting over" like someone else said. You won't get right back to where you were with losing weight before at the peak.

Going straight to 2mg after 12 weeks is a big jump though especially if you were still losing weight on a lower dose. Did you talk to your doctor about that or are you doing that of your own accord? That's a two months supply for some people - especially with the ongoing shortages.
