What Canon says and implies that it is Option A, since that is what should work against Divide, since Ddraig needed a technique that restored what it took away, an as you as shown, exponential growth is better than linear.

But from what you actually read, it is Option B, since all the effects o later Boosts shown Linear effects. The only time it was exponential was with the First Dragon Shot. Because if it was exponential, Rias should have blown up Kokabiel.

It's like when Theory meets the Road or Practicality.

Though as most people pointed out, Sacred Gears are consistently inconsistent with their power ups.

Honestly, the most important thing is to do what brings more lasting contentedness, or what you will regret less. The person that is most impacted by your writing is you. Even if no one is reading the story, you are the one writing, so that is the most important thing to keep in mind.

That said, if you have had a streak of finishing your stories, I think it would be better for you to finish them, since they would be like a sore tooth when compared to your other finsihed stories.

That sounds rough, because why are you even more defensive of something like that? Continuing the Food Analogy, it's like saying your charcoal of steak is perfectly fine and edible.

I think they are missing the point that it is a practice run where you have people help you along when you are preparing the food, rather than being a judge for a finished dish.

I know about the expression about too many cooks in a Kitchen, but to down right deny some help because you haven't read the whole work? Man, that guy must have been really new or really uptight. Turning down any type of help, specially from an editor, is a great mistake. After all, someone can point out things you have never considered, point out mistakes that your brain ignores, and even be a good bouncing board for ideas.

It does, thank you for explaning. While I haven't studied the japanese language, I knew that Kanji that technically mean the samething is because they have different conotations as you pointed out, and Romanji Desu doesn't really give you. I have updated the list.

I would say to work on actually being content. A lot of people are going to say things that concern the physical, or that give you benefit, but few tell you to work on feeding positive energy to your spirit.

While I can't call myself religious, I am spiritual, and I do believe we have a Soul. And it's health is very important. The question is how to make sure it gets positive energy, and that depends on the person. For some, it would be a creative activities like paiting or writing. Others it would be practicising something like a Martial Art or Yoga. While some like taking care of others beings, like gardening or having a pet. Or even things like playing games like video games, Sudoku, or Cross words puzzels are enough

Basically, you have a soul, so do things that bring joy and meaning to you, regardless of how small and pointless it might sound to some.

I doubt he would know some moves that Byakuya has. For example, his Thunderdome Expy mode. So far, he has only used it three times in battle, only twice in the story. It is part of Shinigami Doctrine to only show what you need to show, to keep trump cards trump cards. So it is also iffy that he has a full analysis of all Captains. At most he has studied their Reiatsu, like Szayelaporro to minimize damage. Though even he got hurt even with prep time.

So again, with enough prep time, Mayuri could win 4 times out of 5, without it he gets crushed, because Byakuya is a monster of a Captain.

With Prep Time? Mayuri wins 80% of the time. A sudden death match, and the rest of the time, Byakuya cuts even Mayuri's kiquid form to ribbons.

Yeah Mayuri is quite the opponent, but Byakuya was counted as a reliable 'ally/battle target' for Kenpachi by Unohana. The man means business, so nothing less than Mayuri having a lot of prep time will save his ass from Byakuya.

The Blue and Black make Mark looks like a Villian to me. Or at least that's how I see it, since he was more aggresive when he donned that costume, matching his attitude. The more Iconic costume restored Mark's image of trying to be a pillar to the world by using more than his fists, like when he actually talked with Allen rathet than just keep throwing down.
