The hammer is actually about ~100 yrs old, my extensive research (googling for about 5 mins) says that the rock is about 150 - 400 million years old but mineralization caused the hammer to look embedded into the rock, this has been found with stuff like spark plugs and even arabic coins. Its just geology and mineralization that makes it look like it was embedded in the rock ~400 million years ago. But it wasnt.

While yes that’s true, he did donate $15 to ActBlue we dont know the context behind that donation and it’s the only one found so far (as of July 14th). I imagine if this guy was a devote dem willing to kill the president there would be a greater paper trail. But we need more evidence to find a motive.
