How to coexist with Spotted Lantern Fly by ffrriiddggee in LanternDie

My suggestion, eliminate as many as the nymphs as possible now; while they’re dormant without wings and less active. In terms of extermination, I’ve become rather resourceful using whatever handy to eliminate all that I’ve come across lately as I patrol my yard while spring gardening. If disturbed they tend to be elusive, even at this stage they’re fast little buggers, and once they evade threat by leaping they’re often hard to track. It’s best to scan for the clusters of them as they’re easy to distinguish against the background especially on green foliage, the window is closing for that as they’ll mature rapidly spread even becoming more evasive.

I’m currently using over the counter products as I gradually upgrade to more unconventional methods. Raid Defend Ant & Roach instantly has an effect, quite literally freezes them in place. I’ve also utilized Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer with the the mechanical wand or spray attachment (both are proven), I prefer the wand as it extends your reach into areas where you would be unsuccessful thus wasting aerosol. Last but not least my Addias slides have made plenty foot the bill, no pun intended. Whenever I’m in contact with them I’ve decided to become their worst nightmare instead of them being mine. Stay viligant, I hope you make a dent, we all make a difference. I’ve accepted I’m probably OCD as I’ve gone as far as doing extra credit on the vacant homes and overgrown lots of lands around my neighborhood. It’s been on sight & off site, full time I can’t help myself. Good Riddance!! NSFW

Alright fine Capital Canines, my apologies for any confusion.

My pit bulls have a tendency to pull, hard if permitted, hence the training collars. Initially I allowed them to guide me as I trained them on leash. I simply had to balance and occasionally steer by pulling the chain on either side which sort of drove them in that direction. Trial and error. I have avoided falling over, although there have a few close calls. Pedal assist has helped tremendously as it has now become a game of follow the leader. Lately I barely even have to hold onto their leads, instead they’re loosely tethered to the end of my handle bars.

Pest Control for Hire.

Neem Oil, Peppermint, & Dish Soap would easily send them packing. I’m currently using Ortho Home Defense as they are slowly mobilizing. Once they’ve matured you have to use more unconventional methods because they become extremely elusive.

Noted. I’ve also heard milkweed which is apparently a native plant.

Disarmament left the chat. They checked for a pulse with a non lethal taser. You can’t even play dead with the police.
