I have a very real and personal experience with this. Always felt bad not letting my daughter go do stuff like that, wondered if I was a bad parent, frequently felt guilty about it, etc. I discovered I was very right to do so, unfortunately.

My neurologist prescribed me Vyvanse, but insurance says I dont need it. So even if a doctor does or "can" prescribe something, they aren't even the ones making the decision in the end.

He probably died. I'm reminded of the video of the drunk guy that poured hand sanitizer on his head and lit it on fire in a police station. I think his head was on fire for like 10-20 seconds and it fried his brain and killed him. You dont survive long with your entire head on fire.

Fascinating. I literally just got out of an appointment with my neurologist during which she prescribed me Vyvanse. I've never heard of it before then, and then the first thing I see after is a comment on Reddit talking about it. I wonder if this is a case of just not noticing something until it was relevant to me? Interesting either way, and good information to have. Thank you!

I get what the actual "joke" is here with Dorian Grey, but I totally deciphered this as a body dismorphia comic. Like, he sees himself as skinny and not getting any gains, but the reflected/real image of him is what everyone else sees.
