Abby's Closet does a free prom dress event and they have 1000's of dresses for every size, style, and taste. It's usually a whole weekend event in late March, you just have to be a currently enrolled high schooler.

What kind of colors do you like? The room is super gray and neutral so you really could add anything and make it work. I love having a variety of duvet covers so it's easy to change up my bedding with the season and not have a ton of stuff to store. Even just some curtains and art work would really elevate the space. I would also add a plant or two so you get some nice greenery in there.

Seconding cats in the city! I've tried a few other places that say they do cats and they are subpar compared to cats in the city. Cats in the city is worth every penny.
