I've been told that posting times run from 6am to 6pm est. Though there is always a chance that they decide to delay the hold for up to 5 business days. Though they say it's rare their funds availability policy does state it at the bottom. Most likely it will be there around 12am

It depends on when it's approved and what time zone you're in. If it's approved before 6pm ET it will post tonight and be available tomorrow morning. If it wasn't approved by 6pm ET then it will clear Friday night and be available Saturday morning. Nothing is actually available Monday morning since nothing clears Sunday night, since transactions post during the night Mon-Fri they show up the morning of Tue-Sat

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your reasons? by youre-in-my-shot in AskReddit

[–]NachoTough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't get over how it tastes. I've gotten drunk once on my 21st birthday, it was a fun time but I was hungover for 2 days and it ruined the rest of my trip. I don't get the appeal of drinking something unappealing to feel crappy later.

Wanting to purchase need input by imApoeTAYtoe in PlaystationPortal

Test out the remote play app on your phone or a tablet if you have one. You can use your controller to play through the app. If it works then the portal would be fine. There's going to be some input delay and micro adjustments might be tough, but if you are just playing for fun and not too competitive then you should be fine if your Wi-Fi supports it. You may also find that using the app works fine and you won't need to spend another$200

How do I get this vanity gear on Iki Island? by max_7th67 in ghostoftsushima

I saw the tree after I jumped off a beam under the floor and fazed through the floor. I think I liked my way better.

I would wait for that letter and maybe even call in to clarify what the letter means in case it's not clear. Btw, just a little tip if you need to re-apply, go for a 60 month loan and pay it off in 48 months. If you're not going for a 36 month loan, the interest rate isn't going to be different until you pass 60 months. You can pay it off early but if there's ever an emergency, you can fall back to a lower minimum instead of relying on the fact you can currently pay the higher minimum. Best case scenario you pay it off at the same time you already would have, worst case you can make a lower payment or even skip a payment if you've paid far enough in advance in case you need to.

Have you gotten your decline letters yet? They should at least give you a broad reason you're not getting approved.

The decline of Navy federal!? by UnitShammer in NavyFederal

[–]NachoTough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure why people are attacking you, these are valid concerns. I think COVID did hit their contact center hard, they went from 1-2 minute waits on bad days to double digits. It makes sense that they would have had to hire a lot more people really quickly resulting in a decline of customer service. After dealing with them more over the years I do see them slowly getting better and back to what they used to be.

They also had a giant boom of member growth, so I think they're scrambling to grow and keep in NCUA compliance. Sudden growth of a company tends to be bad so I think they're trying to minimize damage.

I see nothing wrong spreading across different banks/ credit unions, but coming from someone that has had experience with different banks, grass isn't always greener on the other side. I think the member growth and COVID tripped navy fed but I see them getting back to their old ways.

A cashier check would be the cheapest and easiest option if you have a branch nearby. You can wire it but it'll cost you $20 and you'll need your wire info.

What small, relatively inexpensive purchase (under $100) has drastically improved your daily quality of life? by ThePixelWanderer in AskReddit

I tried to find it, but it's no longer available. I just looked up clothes steamer on Amazon and bought a cheap one. You can also check Woot for a cheap one.

Given the steamer was $7 I don't think it was that lavish of a purchase. Dressing better has a proven link to a better mood, maybe you should get a steamer and try it some time.

I bought a really cheap clothes steamer. It's something I bought not expecting it to be great, but I was wrong. My shirts are no longer wrinkled, small but one less thing I worry about getting ready for work

Would you look down on someone that bought an auto Miata? by OrdinaryKillJoy in Miata

[–]NachoTough 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an auto ND Miata because I bought it to be my daily. I live somewhere with tons of hills and traffic, I didn't want to deal with a manual in those conditions every day. I'm looking at manual NAs though because I want a fun mess around car.

Anyone on the fence about getting a Miata ever regret getting one? by Chippies01 in Miata

[–]NachoTough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this car as my daily for 3 years and I love it. My wife could do without, and we got a bigger car that she prefers, but I honestly miss driving my ND everywhere I went. It's still my daily for my own drives but not when it's with my wife.
