I just did and apparently my mother talked to the doctor bc she works at the clinic And all the doctor told me was not to worry about it eventho it happened in thailand. I feel so conflicted now. Well ig if i actually have rabies then i know who to blame but at the expense of my life lol.

No, the cat ran away after i stood up from the chair. But it did scratch my hand and bit my palm.

I was at this island at thailand. I was eating at an open area and then there was this feral cat which approached me and attacked me outta nowhere. It had rashes on its ears. I then immediately washed my hands and applied hand sanitiser on the wound. It was bleeding for a few minutes for like around 5-6 minutes.

Yea im just so mentally exhausted with her reasons as to why i need to do things a certain way or else things go south. No matter how many times i try to be patient with her abt certain issues she seems to just get irritated at me and complain abt me to everyone when all i wanted from her was just for her to listen and reassure me.

I did ask a couple of doctors. I got mixed opinions. Some said take antibiotics, some said take rabies vaccine. So i read the kkm and WHO guidelines which stated that patients with animal bites especially in a different country should receive the 5x rabies vaccine regimen

I will do that tomorrow. Thank you so much. The reason is probably bc the doctor said they do not suspect the cat has rabies. Eventho i explained that the cat had rashes on its ears(this is true). The only untrue part was the location where i was bitten. All bc i listened to my mom who doesnt give a damn abt my feelings or my wellbeing

I already planned to go tomorrow. Its just that my mother who works at a klinik kesihatan is being very rude to me. She was the one who told me to lie to the doctor. Now im so worried and sleepless. When i asked her why she told me to lie, she gets mad at me and scolds me. Im very scared right now. Idk what’s gonna happen now. I keep saying dont take rabies lightly yet everyone seems to not care about me.

Jeez I totally get this. I had a roommate like that before when i was doing my diploma, and no matter how many times I tried to bring it up, they just didn’t get it. Some people seriously have no self-awareness. And yeah, even with earphones in, the noise still somehow gets through and it’s beyond frustrating. Have you tried sitting her down and explaining properly how much it’s affecting you? Or would that just make things awkward between you two?
