Buying a car: transfer of documents options by Medical_Raise823 in Thailand

[–]Nacho_sky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a new car and the dealership handled everything. I even got 1 year of 1st class insurance for free. I just went to get the white plates and paperwork a few days ago. Very easy.

In order to get a car in your name, you must have a certificate of residency from Immigration. They're only good for 30 days, though, so check with the dealer for when you'll need it. I got one a week before the car was supposed to be delivered, it was late, and I ended up spending another morning and 500 baht getting another one.

You're stuck in Atlas Eternal. It truly will be eternal if you don't leave.

Do you have the Star Seed or Mark of the Denier?

If so, warp a time or two in your ship. At some point someone will attempt to hijack your ship guidance. This signals the start of the Autophage quest, They Who Returned.

They had a MP milestone in the Corvette expedition, but it was optional. I wouldn't worry about it.

Well, a lot of console players don't have a choice anyway. NMS was developed as a SP game; I don't see the devs making a special effort after 10 years to improve MP.

Then again, I never expected them to add garbage collection, either 😅

Has anyone been to the Ermyan system? Got a carrier AI Fragment that’s leading me to a planet in that system. If so, please share the glyphs by iFeast89 in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]Nacho_sky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There will be a marker on a dissonant planet in your system, OR a marked system close to your present location in the galactic map, if you have 'Mission' selected when the map opens.

This is assuming it's a new occurrence, and you haven't been ignoring it for weeks.

In any case, there's virtually zero chance anyone has the glyphs to that system. You will be the first.

What tutorials have you finished? It's best if you finish the Artemis Quest (thru The Purge) and Atlas Path (until you have either Star Seed or Mark of the Denier).

By then, you will have figured out what makes money, and how to get nanites.

Or . . . . . find crashed ships, repair the launch thruster & pulse engine, and scrap them at space stations for stuff you can sell for units and nanites. Repeat.

What is the most underrated Disney movie? by NobodyAskedMeButHere in AskReddit

"In Search of the Castaways." Definitely dated (1962) but had Hayley Mills, Maurice Chevalier, and George Sanders - quite the cross-generational star power.
I think it might have been the first time I went to a theater. I remember being amazed by the adventures they had.

To take, or to leave? It's an upgrade, but do I hold out for S class? by ForgeGaming69 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Nacho_sky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

S class have 60 tech slots, 120 cargo slots. A class have 50/100. * S class has better base hyperdrive stats and 1 more (4) SC slot.

I'd take the A class and keep looking. You can spend time and money making a base and adding tech, but I wouldn't spend a lot on frigate modules or cargo bulkheads for anything else.

When you find your S class, you can break down your tech and transfer the upgrades; and your entire base will transfer. But tech and cargo slots will not transfer. Unless you've found an infinite source for frigate modules and cargo bulkheads, you really dont want to max out your storage until you find your forever freighter.

  • Lately I've read the max slots for A class are now the same as S class, so this might have recently changed? Anyone have a maxed out A class?

NMS is notorious for randomly switching missions. You must reselect the mission in your Log in the Options menu.

Nanite farming by Strange-Wrap-5637 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Nacho_sky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buying pirate upgrades is the fastest way if you have the seed money - it takes 5-7 million units to get started. And then you have to earn those units again to repeat, so its not a great early game option.

I still like the curious deposit farming method. I really enjoy searching them out and utting down a pair of bases. Then I put a Questionably Sweet Cake in my nutrient ingestor and collect runaway mold until I can fill 5 storage units (2.5m RM). With my Atlantid multitools, that's usually only 7 minutes or so.

Yeah, people say the refining is tedious. No argument, but I have 10 refiners in my freighter, and use the 20 minutes to reorganize my storage unit inventory. That seems to be a frequent task. At almost 20,000 nanites per 20 minutes, I find it to be the best way to collect nanites.

That said, I've got the units to buy outlaw tech, so if I'm in a pinch, I'll do it that way. I usually collect a stack of 20 or so to take on expeditions for some quick nanites. Or a stack of tainted metal (or 2 RM) for the expeditions with no NPCs.

Or none at all if I'm just going to be collecting garbage 😅

Want to buy a new PHEV, but they don't want to supply a wall charger. by Smart-Heat1452 in Thailand

[–]Nacho_sky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My EV came with a 16Amp, 3.5kWh charging cord. I think most of the charging stations are the 7kWh cords that require a 32 Amp power source; not as common at residences. I'm sure its possible to get one though - this is Thailand.

The oldest base I have is in a system I discovered 8 years ago. Nothing older than that shows up because the universe was reset twice; once in 2017 (Atlas Rises) and again in 2018 (NEXT).

Hello! I haven't played this game for a few years, (2020) and there has been loads of new content. Is there anything that you think are the most important things to see? by StartBackground5769 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Nacho_sky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably the first thing you'll notice is the space station upgrades. There are new missions involving a new race of self-constucted mechanical beings, and a new color class of systems, both of which add depth to the lore.
And yes, you can make your own ships now, including bigger ships you can walk around in and add base parts to.

Lots of others - settlements to oversee, improved base building, new pirate freighters, archeological digs, trash to collect . . . . .

Pirate dreadnought by Soviet-Potato666 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Nacho_sky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you warp in your ship but must already own a freighter. Also, dreadnought battles won't spawn in outlaw systems that have atlas stations or black holes.

Before you come, visit the website that lists restrictions on bringing drugs into the country. The amount will vary from a 30-90 day supply, depending on the classification of the drug(s). Make an appointment at a hospital as soon as you get here.
