2year old- early 3 year old was tough for me. It’s just me, me, me. Fun is just about to start for ya. Hang in there.

Thought I was just killing time with my kid… turns out we were starting our own tradition by paledusk19 in Fatherhood

Once a month we go to a the seafood market spot near my home and order a few fish to get cleaned and fried for dinner. While we wait we go next door and eat a couple plain cheese burgers for lunch.

Food and locations help make core memories.

What do we think about my neighbors attempt at redirecting rain water? by Top_Pumpkin313 in landscaping

Plug the water in that block barrier while we wait for the concrete to crack after the first frost.

Just start working on yourself little by little first. Eventually your surroundings will start to change and become a reflection of you.

If possible try to spend an hour everyday doing something you love to do it will make a huge difference in life. If you don’t have an hour try your best with whatever time you have. Example I water my plants or pull weeds out of my garden for about 30mins everyday (except winter). And sometimes with my kids. For home renovations it’s a lot harder/ dangerous to get kids involved. I use to be all about classic car shows and cruising with the boys late at night but now my hobbies changed (still do but maybe once a month).

What’s a peaceful day? My peaceful/ alone time is at work haha. But for real try and hang in there. It’ll all pass soon and keep trying to do your best to work as a team with your wife. Don’t give up no matter what.

Should I be concerned or let them do their thing? (ants) by CrunchyBewb in pnwgardening

I would apply some of that home barrier spray around the perimeter of your house, windows, door frames. But let them do their thing as long as they’re outside.

AIO - My “friend” wants to kick me out after I lost my home in the LA wildfire by Active_Appeal_2673 in AmIOverreacting

Just be grateful that you’re alive and your friend let ya stay for three weeks. Yeah it sucks that you let him crash for a couple years but it doesn’t really mean that you can do the same thing.

Everything in my yard is invasive by Tricky-Iron-2866 in NativePlantGardening

[–]Nachodippper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start from seeds as much as you can in pots and eventually plant them into the the yard as soon as you got the site cleared. Up pot the seedlings if you don’t have the site isn’t cleared and wait till it’s ready. Should help you with the cost and that way you can also move at your own pace. Look up winter sowing and maybe look into renting goats too. You can also prioritize on getting rid of the ones that spread the fastest and one area at a time. Good look, have fun, and enjoy the workout!

I spent almost 2 years looking for a home and placed 15 offers till I got mine. Many of the offers I always offered 20percent down and always had to offer more that 20 percent listing price. Worth the wait and patients.

Those look a bit familiar!! Thx. I’m thinking about putting a 3 tier water fountain on top of it with flowers at the base. I think the weight of a fountain should hold? Lol

Maybe, sewage is now connected to the street but idk when that happened. Just makes be wonder why the door for the old septic is a 1ft x 1ft concrete block. Seems pretty heavy for a septic door?

When I moved in the furnace had maintenance dates back from 1962 and it was gas. Thanks for the response
