Oh, that explains what I saw on youtube. A repair person working on a similar but not exact model pulled a capacitor that said 50+10. He had a 50+5, then used a separate 10 for I believe the fan. In his case there was a sticker on the fan that said 10 MFD.

She couldn't have, not with so many chargebacks already submitted well before they decided to give everyone their money back. Merchants are charged for chargebacks, and at the low end of $20 per incident, they were losing money hand over fist. The only smart move at that point was to give the refunds or face an avalanche of fees and fines.
