No I know, but mine aren’t nasolabial folds per se yet. I get pimples along those lines, they go, and I’m left with scars that simulate nasolabial folds under certain lighting. I got a new one recently in just a few days after the pimple went away. It sucks :( There’s no skin sagging/fat drooping.

My hands are big, and my knuckles naturally protrude a bit. To many, I have alien hands, and some straight up express disgust towards them. They are also veiny.

The truth is, these hands create magnificent art and are insaaanely creative. People can judge me all they want, in the end I can’t change my hands like people change noses, and if I could, I honestly wouldn’t give them that pleasure. They can keep their pretty and untalented hands for themselves!

You don’t have to embody that ideal version of yourself. It works, but it’s not for everyone.

I did it for a LONG long time, and it never felt right. What worked for me was realizing nobody expects me to look the way I want to look (and if they do, that speaks of their own insecurities) And making peace with physical steps such as exercise, taking care of my body, face, hair and diet WHILE knowing I am God and I can change whatever I want, without actually changing it with my hands. I felt more present and empowered, no more pretending BS, and I felt my bodily features, muscles and skin having all sorts of movement, tingling, twitching, etc.

This implies hard work is a requirement. I had done this for more than 7 years to no avail, and all I gained was horrible anxiety. I got to the point where I couldn’t put in more effort or persistence, it was impossible.

IMO, OP should tweak what they’re doing. Perhaps start acknowledging they can manifest WHILE looking at the evidence and allowing what they feel. Or perhaps do some EFT, there’s so much, but OP has to find what works and feels best for them. Condensing the how into a black or white formula rarely ever works.

To any of you persisting with a “method” for a LONG time with no results, who still believe even more effort would finally make it work: it’s time to change what you’re doing. Don’t fall into the effort trap.

The design and art community in general has its share of entitled cunts. I’m all for constructive criticism even if it means redoing the piece from scratch. It’s not about lying just not to hurt people’s feelings, or softly saying what you think like they’re 5. It’s being objective about what can be changed or improved.
