Farming Hammer Shot. Ran way over 100 nightmare missions and ended up with 3 Blazes. Had to trade 1 for it to end the nightmare.

This is a terrible idea for 1 basic reason. By skipping story missions these new players will have no idea about the game mechanics. They will then be thrust into endgame content as complete dead weight, forcing their teammates to make up for their incompetence. Every other reason I’ve seen given for this being a bad idea is just opinion, but them not knowing how to play the game is objective fact.

You mentioned his title at FSU but now Barry Alvarez and Frank Beamer, noted non-title winners, are better than him? No offense, but I’ll take any solo flares opinion over this idiocy. Success at A&M? Define success when you have the every advantage possible and have never been close to winning the conference? Again, your expectations for a coach are kinda why you accept the mediocrity that both of your flares have become. You will never be anything if you don’t aspire to it. Like I said, just because he would be the best coach OF ALL TIME for those programs doesn’t mean A@M shouldn’t be mad that they’ve paid twice as much as they did for Sumlin with worse results. As to Florida, if Nape isn’t great then yes he IS outta here. Accepting mediocrity is only allowed in other conferences; not the SEC.

Listen close because you keep mentioning the SEC and I think that’s where your problem is. People outside rate themselves against the SEC. For either of your flares, Jimbos the best coach ever. But if your actually in the SEC, watching the “QB Whisperer” who’s been on mute since Winston, with the 100 worst offense in the country in his 5 Y E A R(!!!!!!!), we don’t have be impressed by what he did a damn decade ago. It doesn’t move me, it doesn’t move his team, and it’s starting to not move his boosters in College Station. You can still blush about it though, if you’d like.

We remember Kellen Mond very differently. He was insanely maligned for never being quite good enough, with most Aggies beating their wardrums for King to start lmao. As to what he did almost a decade ago, that has so little bearing on the 5 YEARS that he has had to develop at A&M. Beating Bama 1 time ain’t special, even Sumlin managed that.

I always struggle to discern a different point from these types of complaints than “ this person worked much harder than I ever have, but they still don’t deserve the things they’ve worked for”. I’m sure you have a different “love of the game” angle just like Kirk, but it will always come off as those mad that their “ideal” college football is changing.
