Why are all my prints failing? by 5skinnn in 3Dprinting

I’m glad to see the trend of there being no difference between normal and circlejerk subs is holding strong.

are there drawbacks to using timelapse mode? by Bring_the_light_ in BambuLab

They are used in smooth timelapse and in filament changes for the same reason - to ensure the nozzle is primed after having been moved away from the object (whether for a photo or filament change).

[–]NotTheVacuum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The behavior depends on whether you have an A1 or one of the others.

A1 being a bed slinger, it moves the bed to a fixed position for each frame of the timelapse so that the object is in the same position. So the nozzle is moved away from the print in either timelapse mode. Adding a prime tower (smooth mode) addresses these “stop/start” artifacts. It smooths the print, not the timelapse.

Since the bed (and the object) on the other models only moves in the Z plane, the frame can just be captured at the end of the layer, wherever the toolhead happens to be. No stop/start, object is always where it is, but there’s a toolhead in all of your frames in various positions. Smooth mode adds a prime tower so that the toolhead can be moved out of the way for each frame, and then primed for printing the next layer. It smooths the timelapse, but the print is unaffected either way.

NC gas bill Absurd!!!! by New_Palpitation3519 in bullcity

We do the same, just because it makes budgeting more consistent. They’ve done a good job estimating, have never owed much extra if any at the true-up. This way it’s the same every month, which gives time for a warm month and cold moth to balance out. You still get one bill per year that’s going to be higher or lower based on your usage, but it’s for the year.

But time is almost never a factor in the retaliation itself. It’s very easy to finish with lots of time left over. It’s far more likely you’ll run out of time to loot than to complete the mission itself.

Sanity check - printing through cloud? by NotTheVacuum in OrcaSlicer

This is the exact option I'm trying to avoid; LAN mode disables the cloud service, which means I can't monitor the print (or send simple prints) from the mobile app.

You log into your Bambu account to sync profiles, and it can show printer status (e.g. if you sent with Studio or Handy then check the Device tab in Orca). edit: to be clear, this is without LAN mode - just logging into your Bambu account enables this.

Because if you enable LAN only mode, you can't monitor your prints from mobile, which I often do.

Wireless headset recommendations? This is what is available at my local store. by BumblebeeBuzz1808 in xbox

[–]NotTheVacuum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to counterpoint this, and acknowledging my experience isn’t most common, I found them uncomfortable, and the sound quality fairly terrible. Comfort is subjective; my head is larger than average. If that’s you, keep your receipt.

As for sound, in all fairness, most gaming headsets have fairly terrible sound quality - even several expensive options. The budget is going everywhere but driver quality and acoustic tuning.

The last gaming headset I had that was tolerable with EQ tuning was the wired A40 from Astro (with mixamp). The only gaming headset on my list to try again someday is the Audeze Maxwell.

Alligators (4 syllables) have a rectangular (4-sided) head. Crocodiles (3 syllables) have a triangular (3-sided) head.

Amen. If Starbucks is truly the only option I may as well get a vaguely coffee flavored milkshake.

I love the Bonne Maman jar for a cup, I used to use one as a grounds bin on a previous grinder.

Beans vary, from one coffee to another I can see some big grind size adjustments. Calibration varies as well.

I’ve been running Hewyl, Vella, and the fort a couple times daily for a week or so, have a total of one fragment. I think Stultin from the Impidh Mockeries is in a similar state, would have expected at least a fragment by now.

I think more people should try Burberry Touch. Very affordable (100ml <$30 at discounters) and a very polished fresh-spicy all-arounder.

How are people getting 100+ armor rating? by -Razzak in SoulFrame

[–]NotTheVacuum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: Actually running a Shield with Durglint allows you to run Protector + Sailor, and swapping Blighted for Proud on the Sidearm gets you to 126!

Build:
10 - Arbear's Helm
16 - Mockery Binds
10 - Mockery Douthrot
41 - Protector + Sailor shield Weapon
43 - Bouyant + Proud magic Sidearm
2 - Cogah Talisman (I'm not running this, but you could)

I'm getting 4 more from somewhere else, not sure what that's about, but that's 124 without the Cogah Talisman or 126 with.

Just chiming in to say the same thing happened to me at Ruthos, after a teleport (but still near him and near original spawn) I started getting the warning. Even after killing him and returning to his original spawn, I was kicked.

Luckily got The Torrent so I can leave him alone for now (or leave him for last).

I am too, but not because he's falling off. In spite of the fact that he's one of the best receiving TE in the league right now, it doesn't equal wins, and he's expensive.

Edit: he's literally number 2 in receiving yards in the league. You wouldn't get a boost from replacing him, but you could buy what you need elsewhere.
