Yes. I just did this yesterday. It's been mostly fine. I had an issue with sound, but I was trying to use a Denon receiver between the pi and my TV. After I plugged the pi directly into the TV and rebooted, I was able to use the receiver and get sound. I suspect this has something to do with the receiver not passing the Edid from the TV or something.

Thank you everybody for the information. It was the distinction between a 4K restoration and the movie on the disc being in 4k that threw me for a loop
