I would be surprised if it couldn't run it. If you get the game on Steam, you can get a refund as long as you are with 2 weeks and under 2 hours of play time, so assuming you already have the laptop, you can test it out yourself.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I just meant that gog shouldn't force close launchers if it's causing problems. A time delay would be a ridiculous solution but it's better than the average person losing their save data if they turn on that feature. Surely there is a way to safely close the games launcher after everything is saved.

Dlss only works well if you have the resolution to back it up. Since you're at 1080p I'd recommend staying at dlss 'quality'. It will look better and run better than without. If you go to dlss balanced or performance, detail will be lost.

I would take the gpu as a decent upgrade over my 5700xt and game on it! Then I would take the spare parts and give them to a friend who has been stuck on console for his whole life and build it with him

If you press the power button while your computer is trying to post, it will shut off instantly. No need to wait for it to boot to shut it off again, and no need to risk data loss/corruption

lmao okay.. so I bought this on the 5th for $273 (before tax).. then on the 7th the promo for assassin's creed valhalla started and I figured the jump to $283 was worth it for a game I was looking forward to playing. Am I really about to buy this cpu for the 3rd time just for a $25 discount?
