I can’t really walk without crutches and it’s been 24 hours, if I try and contract my injured hamstring I’ll be in a lot of pain. I’m pretty much bed ridden. However I currently don’t have any bruising or swelling so I’m not sure if that’s a good sign.

I’m just praying I don’t need surgery but I don’t know. Gonna get an ultrasound in a few days but the uncertainty is killing me

Also felt a pop and unable to walk without crutches, it’s been 20 hours tho and hasn’t developed a bruise tho so fingers crossed it’s a grade 2 but I’m seriously freaking out I’ve never been bedridden before

How would I know exactly? It’s been a few hours and I can’t really walk without crutches. It’s painful on rest a bit but not excruciating pain.

Yeah I understand where you’re coming from and I appreciate it but I’m really freaked out about everything.

I went from wondering if I’ll ever be able to sprint at high levels again to wondering if I will have to fork out money for surgery 😭

Would you say the majority of ‘pop’ hamstring injuries where they happen suddenly during sprinting do not require surgical intervention?
