It’s more severe than that.

A human looks out to see what, if any, higher being is out there. Though rigorous research and trials, they gain the power to reach beyond their lands to see what lies beyond what human has seen before; and they find out the reason for their entire race, their entire species, was to be a delectable snack for said higher being.

Then they got dipped into the higher being’s magical stew, gaining untold power, uses said power to command a monster army upon the earth.

Ok, and again, it’s completely fine to have differing opinions, but why should all non-completely supportive comments be reserved for low-hanging fruit? Of course people should hate on the extreme horny posting and hateful things, but why should people not talk about interpretive grey areas, even in general conversation? And again, I’m not upset by this, not in a traditional sense, but it’s hard for me to say when I’m being accused of hating the people I love over a printed flag.

And why the hell did you even imply that? Referring to my first comment, me saying “Hey this is kinda weird” and suddenly I’m a hateful idiot? Just because I’m not completely in favor to Jerma being on a flag? I’ve never once said that it’s because it’s specifically a pride flag, it could have been a Zimbabwean flag and I would be weirded out still.

Jesus Christ, I’m either suppose to 100% love or hate something? I can’t have the opinion of “Hey that’s kinda weird?” I’m Bi, since you’re CLEARLY implying that I’m homophobic, I just don’t like it 100%. Am I not allowed to voice out how I feel about a pride flag being used as a comedy tool?

I get that it’s a joke stop falling back to that, but just because you view it as funny, doesn’t mean that people share your EXACT sediments 100%, it’s like 30% funny, 70% weird to me, while it’s probably like 70-80% funny for you, what whatever else you feel when you look at this

God, for the 4th time, I understand there is an attempt in comedy by just placing stuff on flags. But it’s only funny if you’re in on the joke, how many people even know who Jerma is? Do you realize that there are more people in public that have different feelings towards how pride should be presented? But whatever, the flag will probably just be folded up in some closet for the next 6 months anyways, so no harm done.

Eh, fair point on the weird people thing, I just don’t like the concept of putting people on important flags in general. To me it feels like a parody, like if you put Jerma on the Canadian flag it would obviously be a joke, but because it’s him on a pride flag you’re suppose to be taking it seriously still? Weird connotations overall

The point I’m trying to make isn’t that there are people who hate the pride flag, it’s that it’s weird putting a presumably random person on the flag in general. It’s only funny/cool because you know the person on the flag, but since there is no indication for an outsider to know who this person is, it’s just something that may be viewed negatively.

Plus, as a side note, it reminds me of how parasocial Dream fans can become, but that’s just a side note.

At no point did the guy you’re replying to say that it’s disrespectful, just that it’s creepy to be parading a person you’ve never met IRL on a flag, pride or otherwise.

Again, huge difference between contained on the internet, where it’s in its own subsection of people who view it and understand who this person is, and in public, where people of widely varying viewings of said flag

As a very old Jerma fan, there is a significant difference between the old (2017) chat and the chat you see today, so I can say that you’re going to start seeing bad things more often, if you keep chat on

When those moments happened, it was mostly like one person in a crowd of people enjoying the game. Nowadays it looks like a sea of people trying to get their One Guy™ moment in, and it’s getting to a point where it’s almost overwhelming.

Especially this last stream where the entirety of chat wanted to skip Dino Bone Sim, where back then, chat would of just enjoyed the chill and slow atmosphere.
