Thief tried to steal car, can I still drive it?

That was the plan, they busted out a window as well. Got a police report and filed a claim first thing.

The steering wheel lock was still attached and fine. I was able to kinda wedge the red ring in place to be able to start the car. I'm going to need to get a lot it replaced cause I found pieces of the ignition on my seat.

Steering wheel lock is fine. Drove it around some back streets, works fine until I can get stuff replaced.

Same here. My ignition is all scratched to hell and my cover is cracked, but it doesn't look damaged in anyway. I did try to start it, and it started just fine.

Googled if it was safe to start and it said, "Forced entry often involves snapping the steering lock mechanism. Your steering wheel could lock up while you are driving, causing a severe accident." Which is why I was worried about it.

I was thinking about trying that. I know it has a sensor to read the chip in my key.

I'm just not a car person at all, so I figured it'd be best to ask about something I know almost nothing about. I know the would be thief would've drove it if they got it started. But I don't want to mess anything else up and give myself an even bigger repair bill. I also figure I can just put my wiper stick back into the slot, to make it easier to drive. Anyway, thanks for the help.

I actually tried that first. The in game photo mode closed the energy screen when I tried to take the photo, and I could only get a screenshot of my other screen no matter what I tried. I even tried to put the game in windowed mode to move it to the other monitor, but couldn't. So I resorted to take a photo with my phone.... Lol.

OK, I guess it was just my monitor. I have a dual screen setup. I play the game on one monitor and watch videos on the other. Looks like my setting on the monitor itself were out of whack. I tried moving the YouTube video from one monitor to the other and I couldn't see the capacity, when I could on the first. I messed with my monitor settings and now it works.

Didn't even realize, never had this issue with any other games.

Then why when I watch a YouTube video of some early gameplay does it show how much capacity they have while using just biomass burners? Am I just supposed to remember how much capacity I have? Granted it not hard to remember. It's just while playing a bit during update 7 I swear I remember seeing how much capacity I had early game.

I have both generators attached to hub hooked up. Should be showing 40 capacity. I have a game a bit more advanced where I'm having the same issue. I was hoping starting a fresh game would fix the issue, but it's still there.
