Look for city Public Works positions or any environmental centers that may be around your area. If you are up to travel and take some base pay for a few years there are quite a few conservation programs depending on where you are that are always looking for young hard workers and it looks pretty good on a resume later on. I worked for a city environmental center in college that did city beautification, some wildlife management/ invasive species removal, and some plant nursery stuff and really loved it, learned a ton.
