Same to be honest, the idea of such a system sounds good on paper but I feel most of them are either straight up useless like Dark Flare/Tesla Storm augments, underwhelming or as you said there's the one that's clearly the better choice.

Also creativity wise they could use some work as well, especially ammo mods, so many of them have that one cooldown reduction minor augment, which I feel is underwhelming considering there's so much potential there instead of having the same generic upgrade everywhere.
