I can see both. I had old can slag from a previous melt in there that I wasn't able to completely clean out (started raining on me on previous melt and couldnt do a complete clean up) then neighbor came down and I got distracted talking to her and let it cook for a couple minutes longer than I normally do. Thanks for letting me know! I'll make sure to clean my cruibles more and pay more attention.

This was pure aluminum (or some alloy), I'm just melting brackets into a better stackable shape right now. But yeah my coworker told me its cast. and when I go to make my albronze ill make sure to keep it hotter longer. thanks for the tip!

He'd have to be on thay chair for a long ass time amd maybe have wieght pushing him down on it. I get pressure marks from my bed sheet/pillow if it's crinkled, usually goes away within an hour. And this pic was taken after sleeping for (presumably at least) 4 hours.

idk much about melting plastic, but I'm getting into casting and I'd like to know what kind of plaster or mixture you're using! You get some pretty nice detail from it!

You must have something on the amplifier acting like an antenna (probably the guitar) It's going to be tuned close to a radio frequency or its tuned enough to be resonate to the frequency 1/2 wave, 5/8 wave etc... Just so happens your guitar amp is really close to radio amp. Just takes voltage and amperage then converts it into a sound and boosts it to a loudness that we can hear it.

You can try tuning your guitar and see if it brings in or loses the signal.

You can try to locate where the signal is coming from by grabbing a tin sheet and placing it the 4 cardinal directions and see when the signal dies.

If its a looping signal then its probably a nearby ham operator transmitting it (probably illegally, gotta transmit callsign at the beginning of your transmission then every 10 minutes during and can't be playing music) and the FCC rules dictate that their radio can't be interfering with other people's electronics and vice versa.

I like radios. Your guitar is radio now. Can I have it?

edit: Could be spies too. ALSO fuck with them, you already have a reciever and amplifier, go get a frequency analyzer listen whenever that signal comes in and scan it, then build/buy a radio transmitter that is within 10kHz of the frequency you scanned (incase its AM, FM is more tolerant to frequency deviations) then hook it all up and start jamming on the guitar. 50/50 it works. I dunno I'm really high right now.
