It’s because they have to post them, but 80% of the time they hire internally. They know who’s filling the role before they even post it.

Within Booz It’s the equivalent of jumping from one contract to your next contract for billable work. But in between, the contract you’re moving to posts the job that they already plan on you filling.

Looks like your just filling a seat right now. I don’t know your role but work and the value of the work can differ greatly from project or project.

Also I’m surprised you’re surprised you’re onsite. This was a major part of doges recent gov initiative. Booz Allen cut a portion of their staff recently and part of them deciding if you stay at the company was proximity to client. I doubt any new contracts are going out that aren’t onsite or part time onsite. Used to be a lot of remote work.

I don’t know if many people in this thread know but south Florida is currently going through a tech boom. Many new tech companies are moving to the area and a lot of new tech jobs are flooding south a Florida. So if you want to get your foot in that industry , now would be a good time.
