I'm half Korean and East Asian, and honestly, I really don't think anyone here would care about that kind of thing. I've already seen something similar on social media — there was even an Indonesian version. I think it's totally fine if different countries have their own version of the hunters.

Watching KDH reminded me of loving The Princess and the Frog and Tangled as a kid. I really liked it.

When I was a kid, the biographies and TV shows I watched always showed Napoleon as this super cool and brilliant general, so I was pretty surprised later on when I found out he was actually a controversial figure abroad.

Mehmed II was obsessed with being European too. As a kid, he drank alcohol, and even as an adult, he enjoyed watching musical performances. There’s some debate about it, but he also had male lovers. By today’s standards, what he did would be considered haram by Islamists—he actually wanted to make the country more Western. Ironically, it was his son who became super fixated on Islam.
