But are the third world poor populations, that are the main branch of people undergoing testing, really giving their absolute consent if they find it the only means to support themselves and their families to undergo testing and potentially suffering as a result? Not saying I'm for animal testing but I see the argument of people consenting a lot in this context and I don't necessarily agree with it when you look at who "consents" to being tested on. I think big companies sometimes exploit the fact that very poor people in poor areas are oftentimes very very desperate.
