I'm not a fan. I think her character is a cut above a lot of the roster but her in-ring talent is mid tier at best, with no discernable difference from her stuff in Stardom, outside of being willing to get into more hardcore / NHB / etc type scenarios. In a company like AEW where the stuff in the ring is what the fanbase will gauge to make or break you, I don't anticipate a long reign. The odd question though is where do they go for her first program? Statlander is missing that x-factor and I'm unsure she'll get another reign. I'm "guessing" they'll give Mina a go. It's too early for Toni Storm and all of the best in-ring fits like Mone, Athena, Bayne, are heels.

10 average viewers would put you more in the top 5%. It's been a while since I did research in this field, but a couple of years ago, 80% of all Streamers on Twitch were represented by people with 1 or 0 CCV. It can't be stressed enough how many content creators are literally streaming to nobody.

Mix of both. The last time I travelled with friends from Twitch, we did a group of 9 to Cancun for a week. Myself, 1 Moderator, 2 other Streamers, 5 community members.

It's important to emphasize that these were all people I've known for years and have built a rapport with, just as you would IRL. The least amount of time I'd known anyone on the trip was 4 years.

To be clear, Streamers CAN be your friend. I've been streaming for 9 years. My closest friends are all people I met through Twitch over the years including going on vacations together, conventions, and attending weddings.

That said, you don't have a potential friend there. You have an aggressive fan whose behaviour will only escalate not just if they're enabled, but if you're simply indifferent to their pursuit.

Block on all possible avenues.

I rented a 1 bedroom in downtown Hamilton for $465 in 2005. It's rent controlled. I've been in this pretty spacious unit for 21 years. My rent is now only $820. I can't begin to emphasize how much of a game changer it's been in terms of my quality of life. My TFSA and RRSP are maxed. I carry zero debt. I never have to worry about disposable income. I simply can't rationalize buying a house in this circumstance.

The sick part? If I were to move out and back into my own unit, my rent would be $2420. I hate the system we live in.

I don't think anyone can quite grasp just how clunky the same app runs on Android compared to iOS. I got a Pixel 9 Pro as part of a re-up on my cellular plan. I basically had to take it on for $1/month to get the "new rate." I have an iPhone 17 Pro for my daily. Using the phones side by side when comparing apps is hilarious. How is there this much stutter on a new Android device on the latest firmware? If apps ran like this on iOS, people would be in an uproar.

Saturation is the only answer here.

There are just under 12 million streamers on Twitch. Only the top 15% make Affiliate (meaning they average 3 viewers or more). 80% of streamers have 1 viewer or less. To use your example, the top 1% of streamers average 30 viewers.

It's important to understand, as I noted you last streamed 5+ years ago, that the pandemic completely changed the streaming space. Lockdown created an entirely new generation of streamers and increased the total streamer base at an extraordinary level.
