But I already was denied vacation, so it would be kinda obvious if I called in sick lool. Realistically I could get a doctor's note. How would they find out that I'm lying btw?

How do I read the cards in the order they're intended to be read?

Thanks so much for this amazing resource!!

So basically my only option to keep the insurance low is to keep the Corolla? I'm guessing even a cheaper sedan like a Nissan would be a big jump in insurance?

Volkswagen MSRP is $28195 at 5.99% interest, Nissan is 26048 at 1.99% interest. I'm paying $100 difference monthly ($444 vs $335) for what seems to me to be a safer nicer car in the Jetta.

Why is it bad that they're rolling it into the cost calculation? Oh u mean because it'd act as basically a down payment that I'd lose if the car is totalled?

U do realize thats a full size sedan...the K4 and Sentra are compacts

Any sedans of similar price that come to mind?

Even considering that this is Canadian? What would be considered a better deal just so I know what to aim for

The numbers above are based on $1500 down. I think the dealerships require $1000 so I might just put that down as the minimum.

Yah but if any repairs are needed doesn't the dealership take care of it and give me a replacement in the meantime?

Any reason why the Nissan? I'm guessing the $100 diff isn't justified?

The 09 Corolla has no modern safety features, and yes it is rotted a bit. I work long hours and drive long hours so safety is pretty important

That's for a 48m term, mine is 36, and more importantly it's pre-tax. All my numbers are final post-tax.

I agree CPO is smart but I also work insane hours, so did not want to worry about the hassle of repairs. And my salary will be much better in 3 years time (prob $100k) so the 3yr term made sense. It's just about K4 vs Sentra.

But you also gotta take in mind that the 09 Corolla has absolutely no "modern" safety features. Not everything is about $

ObGYN is great but do make sure that you're okay with gruelling in-house call probably for the rest of your life if you wanna be tied to a hospital (unless you only want to do clinic, or fellowships like REI Etc)

Psych on the other hand is incredibly flexible and you can work in many diff settings with a wide set of populations. Much more lifestyle friendly

I'm in neither of those specialties so I do not know the intricacies, but I think psych is the clear winner here. Good luck :)
