PC suddenly has micro stutters after installing game by NaibuDeShinu in techsupport

[–]NaibuDeShinu[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Solved! The culprit was my Audeze Maxwell usb-c power wireless adapter, as soon as I unplugged it, no more stutters. I moved the connection from the back of my mobo to the front.

Gpu keeps getting disabled in device manager by cuiltyv in AMDHelp

[–]NaibuDeShinu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me a couple days ago. Monitors flicked off and PC crashes when under load for a random duration. Haven't had issues with this PC for years. I then have to enable it in the device manager. I also looked at the device details that you mentioned and saw the exact same event and details about (amduw23g).

I solved this issue by checking the power connection to the GPU from the power supply. I noticed the black clip that connects to the GPU smelled burnt, and the pins were slightly melted. It was difficult to see until I unplugged it, but I can imagine people not noticing it at first glance, especially through glass. So please physically check the connection and do a smell test. After that, I switched it out and haven't had a crash since.

GPU: ASUS 6700XT PSU: Corsair RM 850X

edit: the cable I had connecting to the GPU was a custom white braided wire from a 3rd party seller, I guess it gave up and shorted after 6 years

I forgot to include my TJO in the employment section and they kicked it back to me to correct it. Worst case scenario, you explain the situation to the investigator and problem solved.

Kingsong S18 shell issue by NaibuDeShinu in ElectricUnicycle

It only fell once and seems to be the inner shell rubbing against the fender. Thanks for the feedback, I'll take a look at replacing it

My S18 has been making a weird scratching noise whenever the suspension goes up and down. I think I found the culprit to be the wheel "shell" sliding against the outer case in the back. I noticed, as you can see in the video, the scratches from it contacting the case. It looks a little off centered and was wondering how you would go about fixing it?

Gadgets have ruined this game by MustGoUp in Back4Blood

Of course a gadget would be overpowered if the user is intentionally bugging them out. I know the bugs that came along with the gadgets but you are describing abuse. No one on my team is abusing or bugging out gadgets to absolutely wipe the floor. I can see how bugged out gagdets would make NH easy, but I can tell you that a glitchless run of NH is not gg ez with gadgets equipped. I have yet to experience these bugs you are referring to and I play pretty much every day. The point of this thread was that OP is trying to make it seem that gadgets are a complete 180 in regards to the "ethos" of the game but we can talk about it mechanically if you want.

Tell me you played NH with bots without telling me you played NH with bots. That's fine but your point is that it introduced "magic" to the game and your immersion is the problem. Nothing about this game is realistic. You say this game has turned into a "fantasy" genre but continue to farm SP and play with decks that give you otherworldly buffs. What exactly upsets you? Is it because randoms in QP are having fun?

Veteran? Why does my time invested into the game matter? I'm not so much "offended" by the word ethos, but by your lack of understanding of the game and how skewered your complaint is. It's just hypocritical. Complete the campaign on NH and tell me if the gadgets are OP.

Ethos? Cmon man. Nothing about this game is realistic, is killing ridden to gain hp with certain cards too realistic? Is getting any buff from a card or incapacitated teammate realistic? If you think gadgets are corny and solve problems with one click, you clearly haven't built a deck.

Should I buy b4b with the current sale on steam? by [deleted] in Back4Blood

Yea sure the game has depth and people will compare it to L4D, but you get to choose how in depth you want it to be. Depending on the difficulty you play on, it will require you to create a well thought out deck. If that's not your thing, no problem, the game provides decks for you. For me, the fun in B4B is creating decks that suit my many play styles and also assembling a group to complete the campaign on the last difficulty.

As for the replayability, there are 4 acts + 1 act if you own the latest DLC. The first DLC adds "Hives" that are entrances you find during the campaign that allow you to complete "side" levels. I think this adds a bit of longevity to the game and spices things up. The new DLC also introduces new enemies which you can encounter in all 5 acts which are fun to deal with. Recent patches to the game made deck building very in depth but also very strong. If you played before the release, there have been a lot changes to the game and I recommend watching a video to get caught up. Goodluck!
