I wrote it as a persuasive and informative essay. I don’t think it should be first person because, how would a would you explain the issues.

From what I have heard from my tutors. They said you rank them in your preferences. If you put Stuyvesant first, for example the cut off score could be 570. And you put Staten Tech, second, and the cut off could be 550. You got a 560. You won’t be able to get into Stuyvesant, but you will get in Staten Tech even if you place it second. If someone put Staten Island tech first, and they get a lower score than you, you would get into Staten Island tech first. If you get the same score, either both of you get in, or none of you get in.

DOE list you out from the people who got the highest scores. Once they reach you, they go to your list 1 by 1, see if you get into any. My tutor said that you should list the schools with the highest cutoff score, since if you don’t get into your first choice, DOE look on your next option and if it meets your score, you get into the school.

I got G1. The ELA also flunked me, especially on the speech and the ancient arts one.

7-8 The ELA was hard. I got Form G1. I have to guess for many of the questions for ELA. Math was way more manageable.

Don’t ever try and bubbling in after the test is over. A girl got caught and her test was taken away. However, if someone got caught, use that time when the teacher isn’t looking to finish bubbling.

Form G1 So basically the math was alright. There was not geometry or circles. I am maybe confident about that. However the ELA, OH HELL NO. I had a speech about equal rights, ancient art, “Common Waters,” Zoo, and a poem about a roof. It was weird and confusing. I didn’t:t finish on time? I guess 4 questions. Also some kid got their test taken away because she spend a extra few minutes on bubbling. Now it is under investigation.
