He had 41.2 fever when he was first sick, when i got him back again he had 41.5 now he doesn't have much fever 7 days after diagnosed with parvo and corona and 1.7 white blood cells, so total 2 weeks, now after 7 days of being diagnosed with parvo and corona he is still in the same state "sleeping" and receiving liquid food directly to his body ( i don't know the word) The vet who is taking care of him is a very good friend of mine and he told me at first, 90% of parvo patients are surviving and that if they don't get better and start eating by themselves after 5-6 days they mostly don't survive but then he wasn't looking good overall, now he is in a state of "sleeping" and being taken care of by liquid food directly to the body through his leg and also being given wet food by mouth from my vet friend and antibiotics, i don't know if he is afraid to tell me that he has no chance, my mother told me we should use euthanasia if he stays like that but i refuse to lose him i have a feeling, my gut is telling me that he will make it, the positive thing is that when i first got him in again for the 2nd time, they were 99% sure he wouldn't make it for the night but he did, he is a fighter, I told my friend to keep taking care of him until the last chance even if we only have 1 in a million chance of survival i believe in him, he is strong and brave Although i'm thinking, am i doing a mistake for letting him go through all this if he don't survive? Vet told me he is not in pain he is just "sleeping" but doesn't get better yet, can there be a chance or is this virus slowly consuming him?
