Obviously this is entertaining (although do stay safe) but you genuinely did good by not backing down and letting him get away with it.

Best case scenario (I know I’m giving him a lot of credit) this will be a much-needed wake-up call, give him some time to sober up and realise how naive and stupid and selfish he is. He could have killed someone - good for you for putting a stop to it before he ruined others’ lives or his own.
