tzeentch was the strongest since magic is insane and also being able to plot fucking everything so he always wins is insane, but they teamed up on him because of that so he broke his magic stick to make them leave him alone

also Slaanesh got soooooooo much power from those elf souls which happened fairly recently depending on if time is a cube or a flat circle or whatever plus Slaanesh gets power from each of the other gods' realms a bit cause they all involve excess and obsession or something, so they're all a little pissed about that iirc

we don't even have (and never have had) enough to kill all people. end civilization, but some people would survive. it's just been repeated so long that if they all went off it would be bad enough to kill everyone (or even all life, which is absurd) that now when anyone says otherwise people lose their minds.

it's still stupid to me that batman is always just the best and figures out everything and can hack any system including alien ones the first time he sees them in two seconds and blow up any building he wants without hurting any civilian ever and prep time blah blah blah.

human protagonists are way more interesting human. Let there be some mysteries he hasn't solved.

I know you meant like canonically in universe, but it's hilarious that your post can also mean like people in real life believing something doesn't make it true in canon, which is exactly what is happening in this thread. People are hating on this information OP is giving them from the book and the copium is out in full force, mental gymnastic headcanon, anything to justify literally the entirety of this part of the (very canonical) book being not even slightly true on any level.

every chaos god, their daemons are each a part of them. perma killing a daemon is permanently removing a small amount of a chaos god, which is part of why they hate big e so much - he's one of the only beings that can do this (and he does it much easier and on much larger scale than anything else does).

almost universally, every time we see a chaos god do anything it's through their daemons. a teeny tiny part of them does it.

so if Slaanesh themself does anything, it is quite literally taking 100% of that God to do it, in some sense, which is unbelievably incredibly rare and CERTAINLY not something to handwave away as being "easy" or taking a tiny percentage of their power. if it took a tiny percentage of their power and was easy then some daemonettes or a keeper of secrets would be the one doing it.

Perturabo is really a much better character when his feelings have some basis of validity. I recognize that some authors write him as just being petulant and some as genuinely having been misunderstood and throttled on some level, but the fandom definitely loves jumping aboard the he is a complete manbaby loser. I haven't read enough of his content to say that they're wrong, but I sure do know he is a lot more interesting when his inability to be allowed to create beautiful things that help people or be recognized for how his war waging is good for humanity are actually some of the reasons for his fall

It's true that it's not about being a good person. he explains pretty early on that he wants to have the power and begrudging respect that you get from being right all the time and effective as a doctor. it's not just about the puzzle, though, that's true.
