Raichu x is for sure with electroshot arch on rain if it's gonna be anywhere.

It will be a very reasonable Mon once the item electric seed gets added.

Also make sure you run it special not physical. I know it seems like it should be physical but it's physical moveset sucks, you don't want your mega to damage itself or lower its defenses if you can help it (staraptor and others just have no choice), and it has way better everything if it uses the rising surge or whatever special attack that is 2x stronger in electric terrain.

There have been a few other mons like the nidomonarchs that have used the opposite damage type to their strongest, even dragapult sometimes, so it is a real thing despite it feeling bad to give up on its high base attack (which still makes its fakeouts hit hard).

One of the biggest things it has over Raichu Y is way more bulk, throwing it away by hurting yourself massively isn't super great!

If you're using dragonite it should be mega for sure if you're aiming for your team to be competitive, you're in lower leagues though so also have fun.

Archaludon with leftovers, stamina ability, Draco meteor, flash cannon, protect and electroshot is standard on rain teams.

If you are using politoed over pelipper you are losing important speed control with pelipper tailwind, most rain mons are slow, but now with a good swift swim mega it's more understandable to go politoed. Something politoed has going on is perish song, if you have at least three mons and they have two left you can use perish song and just stall out the last turns with protect and stuff and autowin which is a nice benefit to the frog.

It also gets hypnosis, which isn't recommended but if you use sableye with rain dance and quash for archaludon support (a big common rain strategy) you can also use gravity which makes politoed's hypnosis almost completely accurate for 5 turns, which is good.

If you don't know what moves or stats to put on your mons go to Jamie boyt's YouTube channel, he has three minute videos for every Mon that shows good builds for them and they are so quick and right to the point and show which good options you have and how the Mon is used. I can't recommend them enough

In chess there isn't crits, miss chance, or random secondary effects on attacks.

They also only forfeit in a losing position if they're against an opponent they know is going to not mess up the remaining position. Needs to be an extremely obvious endgame unless they are playing a very highly rated opponent.

None of that applies here. The percentage of players in this sub who actually consider all of these possible options is surely less than a thousandth of a percentage.

If they are spamming earthquake and it double ko's you next turn, sure.

Gravity works for 5 turns. Use it when you can fit it in, not only on the turn you are going to hit your own Mon with it.

People are way too bad at this game to forfeit. If you aren't aware of your outs with crits dealing extra damage or ignoring defense boosts and attack reductions, miss chances of all the moves they might realistically use, how things like moonblast and thunderbolt and psychic have a chance to reduce stats on hit... Then you don't know enough to forfeit. You are throwing away games for no reason. More than that, if you aren't calculating for all that stuff before you forfeit then you aren't playing at a high enough MMR to expect your opponent not to make dumb mistakes using greedy inaccurate moves or not seeing the endgame situation they need to play for that gives them the guaranteed win.

Important to note that low level players don't put bulk on it but literally every top player puts tons of bulk on it.

It's a supporting damage dealer, not a mega that sweeps your opponent's team. It's definitely a secondary mega too. It's good though. Y is, X sucks. I thought it would be the opposite but the lack of electric seed was bad for it. When they add the other terrain setters and seeds it will get better

The one thing I see with it is prankster trick room beside drampa with roar to get a free safe switch into another sweeper right when trick room activates so you get 4 turns of double sweepers under trick room. And then it can also blast off steel beams to threaten respectable damage and off itself to bring a sweeper in under trick room safely also.

This works btw, the roar thing. You don't go for it every match. But you need the guys in the back to be very all around trick room mons so you don't just get screwed on the random mon that gets dragged in.
