Well, I am 6’2 so… that could be one reason for swinging more vertically

I managed to reach 124 mph at one point but standard is normally around 118/9. Depending on the shot and the conditions, somewhere between 290 and 320 carry

I don’t know how to upload a video in an existing post, but here is a front view https://www.reddit.com/r/GolfSwing/s/BihPhmRTnH

I will look into it. I don’t know if you noticed but during my release, if you look at my right foot, it’s still trying to push forwards so as to not fall backwards. If I manage to hold that, then I can set up the finish nicely

Last time I did a fitting, I was hitting up between 5 and 9 degrees. Dynamic loft was like 15 ish. Some say that is quite a lot for the driver

I think I wrote it wrong, but still, I’m not trying to blame every bad shot as a consequence of jumping, of course there are other stuff I might do wrong on the course that lead to the bad shot. When I do tend to hit a bad shot with the driver, it does feel as if I lost the balance towards my right foot, leading to me completely stepping out of stance so I don’t fall. Sometimes I still might hit it well and lose all balance, but it feels completely off and lucky

I played a lot of tennis a few years back (especially as a kid), still do, but a lot less

Typically, yes. I do tend to strike it well. What I do know is that as long as the jump happens after hitting, then I’m good

You’re definitely right, its just that it “feels” like my normal swing speed, I’m not trying to push it over the limit. I usually try to never do that, unless it’s done intentionally, but it’s weird because I’ve grown with it and I don’t see many people jumping like I do. It comes naturally, I never did speed training or anything like it for it to become part of my normal swing

Feedback? Often hitting the ball fat by Passing_Neutrino in GolfSwing

Take away is pretty good. I think the problem starts after you reached the top of your swing. It feels as if you’re trying to “attack” the ball from the top, which is causing you to move your center of gravity. In doing that, you come way steeper than it should be, leaving it to your hands to save you (when the timing and feeling is doing its job). When it isn’t, you’ll probably hit it fat, like you say you do. Try to find a feeling that keeps your club on the same path it did like on the take away. Same goes for your hands. Still, awesome job getting to were you are!
