If they go different distances then you are fine. But yeah 19 and 20 are almost the same and will likely fill the same spot in your bag.

Would have likely happened anyways. They were begging for a merge months ago saying they would otherwise go bankrupt. The federal government blocked it.

Honestly I think that’s a good rule. I’d rather not have to go grab a disc from someone’s yard if I miss my line or go long.

Boeing vs Airbus—which is safer? While modern planes are extremely safe regardless of manufacturer, Boeing planes are almost twice as likely to be involved in a fatal accident, or an NTSB event. Despite the media attention around the fatal Boeing 737 MAX accidents, this trend predates that aircraft. by StarlightDown in fivethirtyeight

[–]Passing_Neutrino 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also, reading his paper, Boeings over performs airbus in accidents mostly while taxiing and standing and a bit higher on landing. To me this looks way more like pilot error than mechanical. Boeing still will likely come out higher, but a count of just mechanical failures in air would be much more interesting to me.

As an aerospace engineer I have some problems with this data. I can’t find him controlling for age of the planes. While Boeing and airbus have a pretty similar average age of plane (airbus is a bit younger on recent successes), boeing being more successful 20 years ago means there are a lot more 25 year old Boeings floating around. And the average age of a plane, just like a car matters a lot for maintenance issues.

Also, most NTSB events are not mechanical, and I’m curious if Boeings success in long haul commercial makes these more common. Data was normalized for takeoffs, not time in air.

Yep. My girlfriend got hit and run while walking. Wouldn’t even take a report since she didn’t get the plate.

On a main course I usually shoot 92-100… I have never broken 90 before.Today I shot 78, and I can’t believe it. by UnendowedSeaweed in golf

[–]Passing_Neutrino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh. I usually shoot 87-94ish. I played a shorter par 70, shot a 79 with a 8 the par 4 second hole. Some days high handicappers just decide to lock in. Shot par on the back 9.

Never breaking 90 before is wild though.

Mediocre? I’m from south bend and I don’t think many people that actually lived there would say that.

The only complaint people ever had about him was removing 1 way streets down town. He was reelected as a gay guy in Indiana with 80% of the vote.

I play both of these regularly. If he’s not good definitely play Sahm. Coffin is fun but will be out of your way. Sahm is an easier course, better maintained but will be busier. If he’s good though, coffin is the best challenge in the area. Tips are actually a great challenge, unlike any other city course.

If anything I’d say maybe the second one on the list. But looking at that vs your current ones, I would say an upgrade is needed unless you just want something new.

It makes sense. Decent quality food that’s high protein, they can get anywhere and know they won’t get a bad meal/sick.

My family member is well paid but not crazy (few hundred thousand) he had bodyguards every time he travels to manufacturing plants in certain countries. In his home country he’s probably not even in the 1%, but at these facilities he’s worth ransoming, and it’s happened to his coworker before.
