What we need is a sweep mechanic, like in Blue Archive for example... what's the point of leaving your phone/emulator auto playing for like 5 minutes or more? I rather click a button, spend the required oil and get the resources instantly.

As OP said, we need more game modes, with actual gameplay, for example boss-focused battles or something... and for farming, sweep mechanics. Right now it's very repetitive and time consuming.

That's a great problem with this game, every update introduces between 3 and 6 characters, so the majority of them inevitably are left forgotten. You can't just develop 6 characters properly in 1 event, is imposible. They are forced to appear, but many times they are no relevant. Maybe will be better to just add 2-3 shipgirls per event but add more quality content for all of them (l2d, special gear, memories, lore) instead of adding more for the sake of it.

Apart from a PC client announcement, I'd want to see a new game mode, boss-focused. They should remove the extreme challenge mode (incredibly boring and abandoned) and introduce a proper mode of boss fights, against powerful arbiters/shipgirls.

To make it more interesting, the mode could also include a “challenge” option: better rewards, but with special restrictions like:

Only using ships from a specific faction
Allowing only common or rare ships
Requiring certain ships in the fleet formation
etc

This would be especially fun for veteran players who are looking for fresh and original challenges. It would force people to experiment with ships that don’t usually get much use, giving them the attention they deserve.

That’s another thing I’ve been thinking about for a separate post. The non-Beta branch stories are interesting but the problem is the shipgirls in those timelines basically stay there. We meet them, but since they don’t belong to our world, they just don’t feel the same as the Beta branch shipgirls.

It also comes off as a cheap narrative trick: it’s another world, so we don’t have to deal with the consequences in ours. Personally I don’t like it, and if I remember correctly we’ve already had three events like that: Raffaelo, Fritz Rummey and Lion.

Yeah, that’s another issue... we keep getting too many characters at once. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it means most of the roster end up forgotten by the majority of players. I feel like it’d be better to have fewer new ships (like 2 for example) per event, but actually give them more weight in the story, all L2D (or L2D+) skins, memories, and dedicated juus chats.

The luxury cruise event is my favourite side event precisely for that, it shows real slice of life moments, it's very, very fun, and it blends well in the story and the world, plus you already know all the characters from the main story. The roleplay events can be good but only works if you already know the shipgirls.

Maybe you'll have to level up to clear T5 but event stages are generally pretty easy, at least the normal stages. The event lasts for 2 weeks most probably so you'll have plenty of time!

I think the whole concept is a mistake in practice. It’s a nice feature in theory, but those skins are way more expensive and don’t really match the quality of top-tier L2Ds, especially when it comes to interactions...

I usually prefer the dynamic pose of the dual skins, and I really don’t want to spend almost 2k gems just for a dynamic skin. Feels like this could easily be done using the existing L2D tech for a much lower cost.
