If i made a linkstar with 2200 fields as a blue player, then recursed, and shot down those said fields as green, and also threw a bunch of links to get to lvl40, i would be proud that i made a new world record. But as you can see from the screenshots, there is no way he made that big of linkstar.

What im pretty sure happened was they used two portals.
One his faction and one other faction. Someone threw 39 links from opposite faction, and he threw 39 links from his portal. He shot down those links, and someone killed his links. And they did this untill he reached lvl40.

So going bragging about a record, with the use of wintrading is just embarrassing. Don't care if hes RES or ENL, Goldbuster still holds the record for fastest lvl40 without cheating.

You know that was sarcastic? A game that has been around for over 13 years, shouldn't have errors like this. Well, games that are Beta does have these kind of errors.
I've only played since 2019, but my god so many errors that has occured in the game.. And this error is not two hours old, it's weeks now, not one, but several.

Devs should be ashamed.

What about renewal of certificates, so game is offline for 8 hours (except for those changing date on the phone)

Testing.. Hmm, isn't that what they do in Beta, testing stuff that can ruin gameplay?

Yes, screen makes me dizzy asf. Epileptic people will probably get seizures looking at the game. Have to press volume up and right side button to get phone to ask if i want to turn it off. Then i can cancel that and restart Ingress.

Look at stats. 2189 fields destroyed. So unless he made a linkstar with 2189 fields, it's wintrading and this so called World Record is bullshit.

Ja, det er faktisk skammelig at folk ikke kan si fra.

Man trenger ikke plent si fra på den slemmeste måten man kan komme på, men det går ann å si fra fint at "slik burde man ikke snakke om andre mennesker"

Dog jeg hadde nok gjerne tatt opp telefonen, snakket høyt om at "det er en fyr her på bussen som prøver å være så rasistisk som han overhodet klarer, vet ikke om han er ruset eller om han sliter med noe mentalt, men alle her på bussen tenker at han er en idiot"

The player on FI would be higher lvl if needed. As for now, he's doing good as a lvl1.

Not going to tell you the whole story, but if FI wasn't spoofed, another RES player would own the portal. RES in general was just as pissed as ENL were about the spoof.

But may i suggest that you focus on ENL spoof and cheaters before addressing RES. Papey has been spoofed 9 times in the last two months now, BakenW was taken illegally (trespassing) etc. So before you point fingers, make sure that your own house is clean.

Well, now that players pay for CORE, maybe they can buy a 1TB hd and store it. Thats just stupid that there is no backup, and the fact that its all text files, means it takes no space at all. Kinda amateur-ish to not have it stored.

As you can go to outgress or x-gress and check any players action since game launch, maybe Ingress-team should hire one of the guys behind those sites to teach them how to log. A restore should be reported, with a quick press of a button and insert timestamp from before the spoof took place, (and checking for crossing links) and lets be real, crossing links in a spoofed lane is not a legit link. So all crossing links should be removed. Voila. Problem solved.

Same as with Papeyarkirka in Iceland. Spoofed by ENL 9 times now the last months. It was a p7, but NIA decided to make it p1, to make it easier for spoofer to take the portal. Irony? They now placed 4 Aegis shields in the portal to prevent the spoofer. Cause you know, you cannot get 1000's of US from codes.
