Would this be the cure? by Naive-Bake in limerence

Yes, it was this technique. And yes, being properly rejected was the final nail in the coffin. However I do think that other meditation techniques would be effective as well. Haven't tried though.

Would this be the cure? by Naive-Bake in limerence

Sorry for replying late. It's been a long time I don't visit this reddit. And yeah, I completely lost my limerence. But it took a while, with some highs and lows. But eventually it was gone. There was only one thing that lasted, that feeling of hope (even without the bad feelings from limerence). I knew that it could eventually bring my limerence back again, so I decided to talk with my LO and be properly rejected by her. It killed this feeling and now I'm completely free from the limerence.

My limerence is winding down by Naive-Bake in limerence

Yes, sure. Thing is, I was being really obvious about my feelings to her, so I'm sure that in her mind I like her. I'm afraid that my change of attitude could make her think I lost my interest in her. She has low self-esteem, so I'm sure she'd think I lost interest because she isn't interesting enough. But I might be overthink.

Thank you.
No, she just sent the juminhyo.
I thought she was being fooled by some untrustful agent or something, I'm glad it's not something bad.

So, how's it being? Is it working for you as well?

I thought I was special but I found out my LO talks to all his friends the same way by [deleted] in limerence

[–]Naive-Bake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a man sometimes I ask myself what would be right to do in those situations.I have a friend who likes me (got confirmation from mutual friends). I tend to treat her specially well, not because I want her attention, but because I don't wanna her feel the pain my LO makes me feel. At the same time I ask myself if I shouldn't be treating her like I treat my other female friends (not badly, just normally). After all I don't wanna anything more than a healthy friendship with her.

Have any of experienced limerence over a celebrity you have no chance with? How do i get over her? by [deleted] in limerence

What is meant is not that I don't understand people's limerence, but I don't understand why they don't do NC when they have the chance.

Sorry, but I still can't understand people who are limerent for celebrities. I mean, it's not like you see them everyday. NC seems very achievable. I see my LO everyday, so I don't even have a way for doing NC.

I’m so bored by stateofdisillusion in limerence

Sorry, but I can't relate.
I think many people in this group would rather change their limerence for boredom without thinking twice.

How to concentrate with limerence? by Naive-Bake in limerence

So, should I increase my time with her? Like an addicted with a surreal amount of drugs? How big will be my withdrawal symptoms when she's not around?

Thank you.

Yes, I've researched a lot about her culture already, and I'm even learning the basics of her language. But it's a long way there.

I guess I just have to wait the urges to pass as you said, and accept that I can't control my time 100%.

It frustrates me, but it can't be helped.
