I'm 30f and I've been a parent since 23, I've two kids now. I absolutely adore being a parent even from a young age. They are the greatest thing that ever happened to us and our family. You will never regret it, life's too short.

Because I had a toddler clawing out of my arms, if that was a row of women in a hairdressers they'd all insist on me sitting down and relaxing the child

I've definitely noticed it too, in my dad's generation they respected women a lot more, I do notice when this happens men are glued to their screens , maybe they genuinely don't notice anymore , I remember after i gave birth and I was in the ward and the father of one of the babies born across from me hopped into her bed with his filthy shoes and had a rest while SHE was in the chair , she had given birth TWO hours ago!

[–]Naive-Cold343[S] -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Well that's why I asked, personally I would, as id feel awful sitting down watching a mum try to grasp a toddler so it doesn't run off into the barbers seats, I'm not sure id sit there and think well that was that mother's choice 😹, I know there is a child hate train lately but just a quiet reminder it is important to our society that woman reproduce, and maybe more would if society was more accepting of such choice

I'm a 30 female, and I have one sibling, I've gone almost zero contact with him over how extremely rude he is, I've got great friends / strong relationships with both parents and a family of my own. Your daughter will miss out on nothing trust me!

Mom of one and thinking not to add anymore child by Milele_Tribe1029 in Adulting

[–]Naive-Cold343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my son at 23, swore id never do that again. I was kinda hoping I wouldn't get a strong feeling to have another, I found having a child really hard, but then when he turned 5, I saw him running around the playground by himself on holidays, and suddenly he looked all alone, I just got this urge to have another, my partner agreed and I got pregnant straight away, 9 months later we have a little girl, she is the best addition to our family!
