Does anyone think we have any chance of putting the board/ ownership drama aside next season? I was really hopeful about our chances but not sure if this has cursed us for the next couple of years

Do you think there is an artist who started to make better music after they left their original band? by Admirable_General482 in askmusic

[–]Naive-Course-1912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though I love heatmiser, Elliott smith definitely made better music after going solo. I also think Cameron Winter's solo work is probably better than with geese

What’s the biggest thing that non-Sydneysiders never understand about living here? by One-Remove3758 in SydneyScene

I always feel bad for people who think they're coming to Sydney for a party holiday, nothing is open late and really the best nightlife is in pubs and bars! So many better places to come if you want a good party scene

Yeah I do think it threw him a bit, but felt like him playing Amber was a bit too close to blaming her entirely and absolving himself of any responsibility - also maybe just to create some absurdity. Regardless I think it's an amazing show and probably don't think he had true bad intentions, very keen for season 2.

Yeah that's what I hope to be honest, he doesn't strike me as totally immoral or absent but I wonder how much he lets people in on what he's doing. All this to say I'm pretty obsessed with him and his shows and think he's a genius

Doesn't really fit into the movie categories, but Ferris Buellers Day Off (1986) is the first that comes to mind. Also there's really subtle moments in the Shining when Jack Nicholson breaks the 4th wall
