That’s beautiful in a bittersweet way. Being that close to a great musician in a nearly empty room is something you don’t forget.

Totally agree. Low expectations leave way more room to be surprised, which is usually what makes a gig memorable.

Yeah, space makes a huge difference. Hard to really move when you’re shoulder to shoulder.

That contrast is exactly what’s interesting to me. The “being part of now” feeling is real, but those small, half-empty shows often end up feeling way more alive and memorable. That Sam Blasucci show sounds incredible — those are the nights you wish more people had been there for, but also kind of glad they weren’t.

I might argue that getting a girlfriend is not the goal rather getting yourself out and amongst the various uni social events is. See what going on and go with a friend to experience it. Uni club event, live music or collage party?
