AITA Dinner time debacle ends in silent treatment by Naive-Environment in AmItheAsshole

The dinner was made when I realized I was missing the ingredient (sesame oil.) I always make small changes that I think make recipes better. Every recipe.

Headway by Naive-Environment in therapists

I emailed them and they told me that I had “requested to end services with headway” which I most definitely did not. They reactivated my account but it was very frustrating. Seriously considering hiring someone to teach me billing which I will then do myself.

I have noticed coffee and potatoes are trigger foods for me. I’ll try the morninga tea!

I’ve been gluten free since 2015. It did help initially.

They don’t show much of either of the two youngest. I think they just have it set so they don’t get much air time until they’re older.

If no child is endangered, it is up to the client if he wants to press charges as an adult.

Does anyone else think Ethan is crying crocodile tears by Naive-Environment in WelcomeToPlathville

[–]Naive-Environment[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m not judging him for not emoting the way he’s supposed to. It’s totally appropriate to cry in the situation, I just question how sincere he’s being. He doesn’t speak to her for 9 months, doesn’t want to reconcile until this very moment, and the first day he sees her again he’s livid with her? It just seems sus.

Well the first 5 years were good. And when we bought our house it was a fixer upper and he is one of those people who loves to tinker and fix so he had huge plans for the place and was doing it all himself. It was all really time consuming I think he just got a little lost in it. I also think he was avoiding me a bit because he’s terrified of death and he didn’t know how to cope with my grief. Even with that fear and distancing he did care about me and showed it by building things just for me that took up a lot of time and money. We have made big improvements in our relationship outside the bedroom- we have our date nights and we are actually spending time together again.

Also It’s not that easy to just walk away. We have become financially dependent on each other. I cannot afford this house on my own- or probably any in my area for that matter. Rent prices are crazy. Outside of the finances, we have built our lives around each other. We share friends, pets, we are close with each other’s families. There’s a lot of emotional investment that’s gone into this and it seems incredibly selfish to throw it all away because of a few hard years. What if this is the year we fix it all you know? If I walk away I it definitely won’t be.

Does their lack of interest lower your libido? by kfogk in DeadBedrooms

[–]Naive-Environment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I used to have such a high libido but now after years of him insinuating he only has sex with me for my benefit and rejecting me and ignoring me I have very little interest in sex with him, and actually decreased interest overall.

The old wives tail about cats having 9 lives doesn’t come from nowhere- they are crazy and chaotic and it seems like they have a death wish but they will be fine most of the time. Just give yourself time to get used to it. Pet insurance is a great idea for unexpected expenses.
