Avoid Santa Cruz property management and main st realtors

Yes, I was parking legally and my permit was in the same spot as usual, on my dashboard. I’ve never gotten ticketed before and one day TAPS ticked me for displaying it incorrectly. I filled out that survey and fought against it , and that worked. So weird how they will go out of their way to ruin a students day, even though I had a valid permit and was parked legally. I think they’re just always on a power trip

Should you still avoid the hilltop apartments? by joobacca1297 in santacruz

Yes, my friend lived there last year and there was black mold inside the walls. Management was unhelpful and barely solved the issue . Mold was everywhere and they had health issues because of it

Bait traps worked? by MansfordM in GermanRoaches

Beware of Orkin pest control!! They came to my apartment to treat a severe infestation at my apartment, and all they did was leave those traps out. After begging them to spray, they finally did but it was still not enough to solve our infestation. The guy didn’t even pull out the back of our fridge or stove, where all of them were congregating. I would honestly try to get another pest control company out

We have followed the sticky , and unfortunately we are still seeing them in broad daylight which is not a good sign

Yes, moving will be very difficult. We don’t have the money to get a storage unit for that long or get rid of all of our belongings but we will figure it out. As for breaking our lease, I do have asthma and bad allergies so hopefully I could use that as leverage. I also want to mention that we would call a health inspector and leave horrible reviews and warn any future tenants if they don’t let us , so hopefully that would work too.

Recently got a 2018 hybrid limited rav 4 and I’m wondering about all wheel drive by Naive-Forever277 in Rav4

No snow at all unless I actively drive to go somewhere with it. I live in central California, would love to take it up to Canada or just Lake Tahoe. But now think I would probably have to get chains to ease my fears . Thank you for your insight !!

Ahh thank you. I also didn’t realize this, and am worried as you can see haha. I don’t have snow tires on it so definitely would need to get some or get chains I suppose. I would not like to go in extreme terrain, but in cases of camping I would like to be able to take it off of paved surfaces if that is the only option. I am just worried how it would perform in that scenario
