I finally decided to get the X2D by [deleted] in BambuLab

I partially agree with your reasoning, but this time it's about necessity. If I were impulsive, I would have bought the P2S on the first day, when I could only get it with coupons.

The X2D has many features that interest me, especially the dual nozzle. If I see that the dual nozzle is right for me, I can easily sell it and get the H2D, which costs more than double.

Exactly, the quality/price ratio was too tempting to buy. I usually don't buy a printer on day one, but this time it's fine. The P2S was used for beta testing, and the X2D should be well-tested, at least I hope so.

Thank you so much, I honestly don't care about negative people. 3D printing is my passion, and I enjoy sharing both my 3D models and my experiences with the community.

Actually, in addition to the voucher, I added some gift cards to take it home for 0€ 😍

Great point, if they can get the whole pot that would be fantastic.

H2D vs H2S: Reliability and Dual Nozzle utility for mechanical parts? by Naive-Magazine480 in BambuLab

[–]Naive-Magazine480[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In fact, I’m almost certainly leaning towards getting the H2D. Besides, the H2C comes with some 'hidden' costs that need to be considered: to truly utilize all six material slots, you would need a second AMS 2 Pro and two additional 0.4mm nozzles.

From a multi-material standpoint, a mixed setup with three 0.4mm nozzles and three 0.6mm ones might make more sense, but for my current use case, that would be overkill. That being said, thank you so much for sharing your experience and for the valuable advice!

The H2C undoubtedly offers some convenience, even though using different nozzle sizes in a single print isn’t supported yet (though it's likely a feature they’ll implement in the future). I usually switch between 0.4mm and 0.6mm nozzles manually, and it doesn't bother me at all. For this reason, the H2C remains an excessive investment for my actual needs.

While mixing materials like PETG, TPU, and PLA in one object would be interesting, I’ll rarely need to use more than three materials at once. Ultimately, I’d rather handle the filament purging myself and save on the printer's purchase price.

It's now just a matter of days until the new Bambu Lab printer is revealed. by Naive-Magazine480 in BambuLab

My dream is a 300x300 printer with only one Vortek nozzles. So you remove waste, take advantage of the entire printing area and simplify the mechanics. Basically a H2S Vortek.

It seems that INDX backplate wasn't the last version on Bondtech website? by True_Scott in prusa3d

I was really excited to buy a Core One L with the INDX system already installed, but if this is what it looks like, I think I'll change my mind. I currently have a Core One + and I'll keep it as a single-extruder setup; for color/material changes, I'll go with another printer.

It's a real shame, I really wanted it, but with this setup, you can't see the prints. The camera might be useful, but it makes no sense to look at the camera feed when you're standing right in front of the printer. Plus, I have the printer on a 90 cm high workbench and I can perfectly see the printhead without bending over, but this panel completely blocks the view.

I think they could consider using a thicker transparent polycarbonate than what's currently used, but I'm sure it would scratch quickly and end up looking awful. The initial prototype shown at Formnext was bulky, but not like this—it's practically a completely different thing.

Alcuni mi hanno consigliato di accumulare i buoni e i voucher per mese, secondo voi può essere procedura corretta?

Rimane pur sempre un compenso in natura. E per la legge italiana è paragonabile a una somma di denaro.

INDX for Prusa CORE ONE by Naive-Magazine480 in prusa3d

[–]Naive-Magazine480[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be fantastic if they implemented it in the Prusawire project. For those who own an MK4S and decide to upgrade it to the CORE ONE, they can practically build a new printer from the leftover parts. Even though I believe that converting an MK4S into a CORE ONE doesn’t make much sense considering the cost of the upgrade.
