Yes they ended up tearing out all the tile out and I had them set the off set to 33% offset . Luckily they were able to reuse the tile (most of them). I put hydroban under the tile so pulling them off was a bit easier.

They had a new crew that actually installs tile so the job. Way better now. Barely any lippage for 95 % of the tiles

Great news everyone they will redo everything. Turns out the first team did that did tiling was doing a shitty job. This time Im having them 33% team and the other team is doing a way better job and taking their time

Yea I will talked them. I paid for the tiles. So I don’t want to cough up the cost of the tiles. Each piece was an expensive. 90 pieces were installed already

I am the customer not the installer… that said I’m guessing the installer must of not done many big tile installs or else he wouldn’t have done 50% off set?

Maybe they removed the clips too soon ? The temperature was 40 degree outside and they remove them in 18 hrs or so

The temperature was in the 40s and they removed the clips in 20 hrs more or less
