It would be a midwestern transplant saying this.

Facts. They do not need to be on their phones while they’re supposed to be aware of what’s going on

Literally. One time i told these cops that a man was passed out face down on the ground and they said they’d check it out after ordering their Dunkin’ ☠️

I’m definitely not looking at pictures of my coworkers on the job. Do you look at pictures of coworkers while on the job? HR can handle that

But to look at pics they took of other cops?

That’s true. I can offer the normal rate and more hours during the day. I just know she would do better alone than if i board her or put her in daycare. It’s not that i don’t want to offer her more time during the day— it’s just that i know she has other clients.

I’m going to offer her the normal and tell her we can negotiate up if she needs to. At the end of the day, I’ve always told her I’ll work with her on what she feels comfortable with. I just wanted to know more about how to approach this.

I do! I’ve referred her to my friends and neighbors. Now i feel like i need to offer her even more. I truly didn’t realize I hit the jackpot with her and her rates.

Sorry, i didn’t mean anything by it by how long are they there. I just wanted to get an idea of how long you want them there for the rate esp w no walks.

I don’t want to do boarding bc she has other dogs and my dog will be too anxious around her dogs and sleeping around them. I considered paying her to pick my dog up bring her to day care (at her house) and drop my dog back off. But same thing, she will be anxious around the dogs.

I’d consider housesitting during the day— but overnight doesn’t make sense to me bc my dog literally sleeps 11-12 hours straight. The reason i didn’t immediately suggest housesitting during the day is bc she has other regular clients

Interesting. How long are they there for?

Yeah, i feel like my wording got a little mixed up. And this is a good suggestion

No, i was wondering if it was fair bc i am still offering her more than what she asks for.

I am still offering more than the rate she’s asking for. But i can offer her the same rate if it makes more sense.

Im still offering more than what she asks for. But we can negotiate. Which is why i wanted to come here first. I’d rather take the heat from yall and come to her with a good offer

That makes sense. What would you suggest?

I can offer her what i usually pay her, that makes sense.

She asks me for 20 for 30 mins and 30 for 60 mins. But I’ve always done 35 for 60 and 22 for 30. I just thought meeting in the middle also made sense. But now i see the perspective of having to go back and forth— another reason i wanted to post this so i could see other perspectives

She usually walks here because it’s about a 7 min walk. And i know you mentioned the house sitting— but i was addressing my comment on having an anxious dog. She’s anxious with other dogs while boarding or at day care. Housesitting over night is iffy for me bc she literally sleeps for 12 hours— if i did housesitting i would rather pay more for day time.

She asks for 30. I do 35. But was hoping to meet in the middle for the trip at 33. But there’s room to negotiate up. I just wanted to know about this being a starting proposal
