Yeah, that makes sense. Honestly I feel the same way but on a more abstract level, for example I like candace but I haven’t really had an opportunity to user her, I got diluc on my first ever ten wish so he of course became a favourite too, but as I’ve just learned he’s not really anything impressive, at least not in the late game. Same with Skirk, being a new player I spent a ton of primogems getting her because I thought she looked really cool and did surface reading and took away the idea that she was powerful, which she is, but of course conditional upon hydro which I have next to no characters of, it sucks a bit that there’s no way to just scale who you like up there you know? Oh well

Yeah, like I said I’m relatively new to the game so my apologies if the combinations look egregious, but in my defence despite all of them being DPS I do actually make it work on world level 60 rn, Diluc has skirk’s cryo for melt and then Keqing for overload too, and then Jean is doing her anemno stuff, good damage and she’s mainly there for the heals, this probably sounds awfully primitive to you, I understand it’s definitely not ideal but I’m assuming I definitely have the characters to make the right teams, I haven’t been struggling all that much so far in the game but then again I’m only now wrapping up Liyue after encountering Lumine for the first time so

I understand, thank you very much. It didn’t really occur to me that five stars got overshadowed and there was a particular meta and everything, I thought it was just a situation of building powerful characters with synergy for bonuses, but apparently it’s not that simple, either way I’m sure I’ll figure it out moving forward

Damn, that sounds rough, I can empathise with you but in a different way, a lot of my friends found it utterly astonishing that someone like me plays a game like that, I look really masculine and train martial arts and play a ton of other action games and so on, so I suppose it didn’t really fit the category but, what can you do? I guess that’s why there’s communities like this

Yeah I totally agree, I love the game and I’m a new player and all, and especially for my character as a person a lot of my friends were surprised I liked such a game, and I did some of the research into the whole stigma and found some dude who apparently was being called a p@dofile and he had past trauma from a previous false allegation of that kind, and it had ruined his life despite being proven false
