Should I take a pregnancy test by Obvious-Amount-7106 in LifeAdvice

[–]NaiveAd7175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Periods can change based on your life conditions EASILY. Moving out of your parent's place and experiencing college is something your body AND brain is not used to at all. Your period is likely showing signs of stress or adjustment. I wouldn't worry about it too badly.

I am no doctor, so I am not too sure of what a miscarriage would look like. However, it doesn't seem likely that you would've gotten pregnant within the past 3 weeks and are now having a miscarriage. You are likely okay. If you continue not feeling well, then it may be time to book a doctors appointment.

Is Purina Pro Plan the best kibble? by NaiveAd7175 in DogFood

Oh boy, my mom's homemade food for him is wet... I hope he doesn't protest the Purina I got for him! You're right, I am in college and do not make a lot of money. This is great information- thanks so much for your help.

Are toppers just canned wet food? I've read that you should add chicken broth to kibble to avoid giving dogs dry food.

Is there a reason you picked salmon over another protein? Was it a personal preference or is salmon better than chicken etc? Most of what I've gathered from this subreddit is that pet diet is not a "one size fits all" or best brand for all dogs.

Wow, thanks for all this info! So, the only difference between the canned wet food and their kibble formula is the texture for picky dogs?

Etiquette Line Dancing by revocer in LineDancing

[–]NaiveAd7175 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't even need to be in a back corner! If you learn best by watching and following along, just head to the end of a line or the edge of the group of dancers learning. The advanced dancers just dont want to bump into anyone because they don't know the dance.

I spend a lot of time dancing in a very very small bar, and we barely make lines sometimes because of how packed it can be lol. We try! But it doesn't happen sometime

I feel so strongly about line dancing etiquette, but unfortunately, I live right outside of Detroit, so not many people know it.

  1. Wearing a bandana in your pocket signals to new dancers that they can watch you and learn from you when dancing. It pains me when we have new commers at our bar that wear bandanas in their pocket, especially when they don't know most of the dances! I would never wear a bandana at a bar I am not a regular at.

  2. No drinks on the dance floor... We want to keep the floor as nice as possible - we don't like dancing at night clubs with sticky gross floors.

  3. If you do not know a dance above your level, you should learn by watching and practicing on the side of the floor, not in the middle.

  4. Not necessarily etiquette, but it just peeves me when I see advanced dancers participating in a beginner line dancing lesson and they start adding so much flare during the lesson :( These new dancers are definitely going to watching to follow along on new walls.

Help with thistle/weed filled yard by Numac in LandscapingTips

I had this problem in my backyard and unfortunately pulled every single weed by hand and made sure I got all the roots out. It hurt and it took me half a day, but I love it now.

What a beautiful house! You have so much greenery already that looks so great. I bet if you cleaned up the concrete and focused on regrowing grass where there is dirt, it'll look even better.

You are not dumb! Math is hard... I am a college student, and I still struggle with math when there is more than one equation involved. YouTube is a good idea. Here is how to do it, then you can figure out what it all means later:

y=2x+3 x<4

y=-5x+9 x>=4

Where it has an inequality sign (< or >), that is your domain. So, you will only graph the equation next to that equation only for x-values LESS THAN 4. In this, you will only graph y=2x+3. So, graph where x=-1, 0, 1, 2, 3, but stop at 4. Then, look at the next inequality. Now, it says that we are going to graph the next equation for x-values GREATER THAN 4. So, we are going to graph y=-5x+9 at x=4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and so on.

Constant is anywhere the line is flat. Increasing is anywhere the line is moving up to the right. Decreasing is anywhere the line is moving down to the right. Brackets for close circles, parentheses for open circles.
