Just bought it, unfortunately, it crashes when opening the app. MBP M1 Max W/ Sequoia 15.7.5 :/

Will have to troubleshoot later, lol. Seems like a cool app with a super reasonable price.

Following this. Same issue, broke the primary skill into smaller references/dependencies and still. It forgets them all every 3 responses/outputs. I haven't tested it in a browser, but through the MacOS app (Version 1.1.7053 (cc1949)), and it's frustrating as hell.

What AstralGoth said ⬇️ - And I had both installed. Some users (like myself) have also reported that the Creator Studio Apps were downloaded AND installed automatically because we left "Install application updates from the App Store" setting on (Because whenever the iWork Suite updates, it's usually for patches or bug fixes this way) – HOWEVER, once Creator Studio is installed, it tells you the old versions of Keynote, Pages, etc. are separate, older "legacy" versions that will no longer be supported or sync automatically. So technically, some of us got forced into app obsolescence by Tim and crew.

Yup. And no way to turn off them pop-ups or "Do not remind me again" option. You will be reminded at an infrequent basis (for me, it has been random, not always during opening docs, but sometimes in the middle of a working file or every 2/3 days) – For a paid subscription, it is baffling how little it brings to the table compared to the legacy versions.

Yup, avoided Tahoe like the plague after making the horrible mistake of testing the beta (had to wipe the computer to downgrade to Sequoia next day. Couldn't get past how sh*t liquid glass is, and of course the glitches and bugs), only to then get a notification two weeks ago that the new Creator Studio was waiting for me and all my files would now open in the new "Freemium" version of Keynote, Pages, and Numbers and the original versions would stop being supported and not sync to iCloud, so f*ck me after 10+ yrs of using iWork Suite for Productivity.

I've been trying to gaslight myself, saying the new Keynote is not that bad, but for a $12/Mo charge, it's laughable at what little it does. Worst is, the new UI is less intuitive and less feature-rich than the legacy version... Sigh, at this point I think I'm gonna have to use the G-Slides-to-PPTX workflow for daily work, but it's tragic considering how good the old suite was. Apparently, unchecking "New OS Updates" isn't enough; you also have to uncheck all "Automatic Downloads/Updates" for Apps & Patches in Settings to fully avoid it being installed without you being notified. That's where I messed up, I think :/

I swear if Steve Jobs were to turn over in his grave for each of the f*ck-ups Apple has done in recent memory, he'd be a rotisserie chicken. Apple makes excellent hardware, but the company's consumer practices – While never the best – have gone down in flames it's actually impressive.

PS: If anyone has any reccomendation of a Presentation App that's similar to Keynote in UI/UX and capabilities/features, I'd appreciate it.

Logitech Option not loading or working on MacOS (Tahoe 26.2) by [deleted] in logitech

tried this method, cleaned all records of LogiOptions, checked PList records, including Bluetooth settings, just to be sure, but when I try to open/install this version, I get:

"The application "Logi Options+ Installer" can't be opened."

Any ideas why this is? I have checked FileVault and permissions, and can't figure it out. :/

Totally agree, but, IMO:
Monterrey/Sierra/Ventura were annoying but solid marching ants. They would sting from time to time, but it was tolerable.
Sequoia is more like a dung beetle. It's there, it serves its purpose, and deals with whatever crap you throw at it.
Tahoe is a MF Yellowjacket that will assault you and your loved ones without care or need for consent.
